The place is great! The drinks taste amazing, the employees are awesome and very enthusiastic, and the overall atmosphere makes me feel like I’m at home. But with one exception. The manager was alright and very passive aggressive, but I can see through her fake facade. She was very frustrated when i came in and it seemed like she was taking it out on her poor employees. Do better.

My guilty pleasure, I’m afraid I have made half the sales. I love the high grade Uji matcha, the soft well cooked tapioca pearls, and the subtly sweet jasmine! If you can, pop by, this place is a perfect snack on the way, and I’ve never been unpleasantly surprised.

We’re from North Carolina and friends told us if we are ever in NoVa we have to get bubble tea from RareTea. They weren’t kidding. The tea was delicious. Such a cute shop with friendly workers. They answered all my questions and my order came out super fast. I love that they use fresh fruit in their drinks, no powder here! Thanks RareTea, you’re drinks are the best!
