Felt like a bait and switch.
We went for our first time to try their Sunday brunch buffet after reading the menu from the restaurants own website. However, when we we went up to serve ourselves, we quickly found that several of the items professed to be served were non-existent.
No honey glazed ham. No cinnamon French toast. No Southern Fried chicken. No braised Korean beef. No mixed vegetables. No Chicken and Andouille Sausage jambalaya. No Georgia peach BBQ ribs. No Caesar salad. No homemade lemon cake. This is literally 50% of the menu they advertise not being available.
When questioned, an employee told us that the cost of certain items had gone up extremely high, necessitating their removal from the buffet. Which would be fine if not for two important key factors. Number one, you're advertising that these items are on offer as part of your brunch buffet. Number two, your price has not been adjusted in favor of customers to account for these items no longer being available.
Though service was fairly attentive while dining, when we were finished and wanted to leave, we sat for what felt like an eternity before finally walking up to the host stand to pay. Wait staff literally never came back.
We would not return to Rockwood on principal alone of the false advertising. As for the food, it was average at best.
Parking: Nice open lot.

We went to Rockwood New Year's Eve for dinner around 6:30. We didn't have to wait long for a table (about 5 minutes). Our server was friendly and explained that the kitchen is backed up so our food would take longer than normal. Once some of the food arrived, the fries were cold as if the plates had been sitting. Also, I had to wait longer for my food. I orderd the salmon. While the food was good (other than not being as warm as it could have been), we were content. I will give it another try.

Our server was sweet. I did not like my dessert. Had a chocolate brownie and It tasted like protein powder. I sent it back...
The burger and potato fries were really good! My best friend had a brunch meal and she said her waffle had a chalky taste to it as well.
Bar atmosphere with pub style food. Loud environment and good service. Good for drinks

Not bad but nothing stood out as noteworthy.

I ordered chicken fajitas, which had no flavor or seasoning. The tortilla wraps were too small to use, and the meal had so little guac, sour cream, and pico. To get any additional toppings was an upcharge.
My son had a bacon cheeseburger, but didn't come with bacon (only baconjam). Bacon was an upcharge.
My husband had a chicken Caesar salad, but it didn't have enough dressing and also lacked flavor. Really disappointed our entire meal was a flop. I would not recommend.

Bartenders and servers are awesome! Unfortunately, the food is really bad. Overcooked steaks, overly greasy burgers, steak cheese subs, and just poor quality all around. If someone cared, it could all be fixed, but it's been like this for months...
The seasonal drinks typically suck. The waiters are always really nice and attentive, willing to steer you towards unlisted drinks that are typically great. The food is too expensive for what it is. Even the happy hour deals on food are incredibly disappointing.

I used to love going to Rockwood 2019-2021. I haven’t been back in years since I moved away and it just isn’t the same. The menu has been completely revamped and the style seems a bit all over the place. The menus themselves should be front and back instead of having a little piece of box on the back of the see through holder. I got a sangria pitcher and finished half and didn’t even feel a slight buzz. The chicken tenders and fries came with two soggy tenders. The waitress was nice enough to remove them from our bill because they were inedible. We also shared a burger which was very delicious and juicy. Overall, just felt disappointed with where the place has gone.

The young man who waited on us out in the outdoor patio today was outstanding. Nice, respectful, timely, and attentive to all our needs. The food was great and everyone was pleased with it, even the children. So good, I forgot to take pictures.

We stopped in after a day of hiking. We picked it just because my last name is Rockwood and we thought it was funny. Proud to say, they didn't shame my name. The food and service were fantastic.
Food was less than acceptable. To go order- Medium rare burger served well done. Meatloaf just okay. Fish sandwich a little soggy but cooked. Fish and chips were worst ever, well cooked batter on frozen fish that was not even cooked and inedible.

First time at Rockwood. The food was as expected for that kind of establishment - nothing overly remarkable or bad from the experience but above average variety of menu options.
Really good atmosphere and options for inside or outside seating. Music selection was really good and varied. Apparently they also have live music on occasion but we were not there long enough to hear it that night.
The server was really on it. We were part of a large party and all of the drinks, appetizers and entrees (steaks, salads, seafood, sandwiches) came out as ordered and on time. She was diligent in confirming each order and checked in frequently to make sure nothing was missed or needed.
