We have eaten at The Bone numerous times. Each time the food is hot, tasty, and generously portioned.
Wood-fire smoked meats, house-made sides, sauces & dressings, desserts, and a full bar. The pulled pork is my favorite, and the potato salad is fire! Local beers on tap, and great customer service. Clean bathrooms a plus.
Excellent!
Do not order from here. I ordered the full rack of St. Louis Ribs and the Smokehouse (Honey Bourbon Sauce) Wings. Now I like seasoned meat, but the ribs were so, so salty that not one of our party of 4 could eat them and had to throw them out. It was like eating a salt stick.
I ordered the Smokehouse (Honey Bourbon Sause) Wings and they sent the Habanero Wings. We had 2 women in our party that have bad cases of acid reflux and they could not eat the wings.
Terrible service and food and a waste of over $100.
I moved here from FL and we had amazing BBQ down there, it took a long time to find a place up here that could compare, so thank you!
Stopped in for lunch and had the pulled chicken sandwich. It was delicious! And my sides were really good too. Will definitely be back
I had to try this Brisket Reuben, and it did not disappoint. The Habanero sauce is also good and spicy. It was maybe a little expensive for a sandwich, but you get a HUGE chunk of Brisket on there so I think it was worth it.
I wasn't wowed by the Whiskey Sweet Sauce, but they have 4 options (I only grabbed 3) so one will sate your taste buds.
The fries are also pretty good, and they have Malt Vinegar on the tables for them.
Also there is a Barnes & Noble next door, so you can feast and then walk around the bookstore for awhile. Just don't get any BBQ stains on the books!
I got take out BBQ. The food was excellent and so was the service. I went to get a few items at Wegmans rather than waiting. The woman who took my order brought my food to me, at the door, almost as soon as I walked back in to pick it up. She was attentive and hospitable. Definitely recommend.
Generous portions and delicious food. Good cocktails too.
Ordered the meat sampler. Everything was covered in grease and meat fat. The worst BBQ I have had in Virginia. Also ordered the sweet potato fries. They pour sugar on them. Do not order here. Total meal cost was like 65$ and it was all trash. The broccoli was okay but you can’t really mess that up. Do not eat here.

Our first visit to The Bone was a delightful experience, Both the cuisine and service left a lasting impression on us. The highlight was undoubtedly the pulled pork sandwich, which was the epitome of culinary perfection. The pork was exquisitely tender, the bread delectably soft, and the sauce impeccably balanced. My husband indulged in the mac and cheese, which arrived fresh from the oven, irresistibly hot, and brimming with cheesy goodness. The picture of it below speaks for itself. The service was nothing short of exemplary, attending to our needs with remarkable efficiency. We are already eagerly anticipating our return visit!
One of the best barbecue joints around. I like to make barbecue and make my own quite often, but this is a great place to come when I don't have to spend 14 hours making barbecue. Definitely worth stopping in and trying a few of the sandwiches. As hot as it sounds. I also love the broccoli as the side. You won't be disappointed
