Asked for chicken chowmein and the woman on the phone acted like I was stupid and didn't know what it was. After going home and opening it, it was just vegetables mostly onions. Terrible service and I guess they don't know what their own minu?

Doesn't look like much, sort of hidden in the corner of a shopping center but the food is the best in town. Not fancy, but quick service and great food.

My only complaint is they are closed often when their website says they are open. Just like tonight. Friday night at 6:00 PM. Would think Friday nights would be busy and profitable for them... The food is always very good and they are fair on pricing with good portions.

10/2024: Possibly the best of the three Chinese restaurants in Galax in terms of the food tasting and looking the way I like. Though that isn't really saying much. They use real Chinese vegetables and spices. Generous portions and reasonable prices except for the limited selection of overpriced drinks. I always order steamed rice and maybe half the time they substitute rather oily fried rice. But at least it is not full of peas, carrots, and egg. Egg rolls about three stars. This is primarily a takeout place but they do have a few tables for dine in. Not really set up for dine in and they don't seem very happy to see dine in customers. Dine in meals are served in styrofoam take out boxes with plastic utensils. General Tso chicken, Kung Bao and Sesame chicken all good. My partner says the wonton soup is good .
Parking: It's in a mall so there is always plenty of parking.

Best food in the city and only real place I’d recommend anyone try when they visit.
I usually get General Tso's chicken and chicken fried rice. The food is always hot and fresh at really decent prices considering the quantity. Staff is always friendly and if you don't call ahead it usually only takes about 10 minutes to get your order made on the spot. Love the food though it is order only as they have no buffet. Still a great stop for some Chinese food.
Parking: The parking lot outside the store is usually easy to get a space right up front and there's plenty of room.
