I am absolutely done with the New River Store & Deli. Ever since they let Regina L Short go, it has been problem after problem. This is the 3rd time they have overcharged me, at least this time I caught it before I walked out. Their biggest problem is their new store owners. The head manager they call "uncle gary" is rude and won't even say sorry for his own mistakes. He acts like it's an inconvenience if I try to get something corrected. The first time he overcharged me $10. Said it was a computer glitch, but he never gave me my original receipt, and when I went back to ask for a one, the female manager gave it to me and there was drinks and food I never bought on it. Second time, he double charged my uncle ($80 worth), had him run his bank card twice but on two different machines, we only caught it because of his new bank statement. Today, he had his cook in there by herself with barely any register training. She charged a higher price (almost double) for a pack of cigarettes because she couldn't find the price for the one that was bought because he didn't have it clearly listed at all. She also couldn't do a refund because she didn't know how. This was not her fault, this is her employers fault. So everyone who goes there, please check your bank statements and receipts to make sure you don't get overcharged too!I'd give it 0 stars if I could.

They have the very best food ever everyone needs to stop by there and order you some delicious food and it is fresh they have a awesome Philly steak and cheese it's awesome go by there and order you one

Sam is probably the kindest person I've met while traveling! Thank you for the fishing tips! Thank you sir for all of your kindness! For the waters and your awesome food (blt's) and the thoughtfulness! If we are ever back in the area we will most definitely stop in!

The first night we picked up one of the best Philly cheese sandwiches we’ve ever eaten. The bread was fresh, the meat was tender, it was so good. My husband and I split it and still had enough for lunch the next day! The special the next night was spaghetti. Again, we only got one order and it came with a salad and bread. Yet again, we really enjoyed the food. We also had a yummy oatmeal cookie.

This store doesn't have fuel, but they do have cold sodas, snacks, and tobacco products. New River Outdoor Adventures is attached to this store.

The best place to order food in fries. staff is super nice and always friendly!

Great place to stop and get a burger and fries while biking in Fries on the New River trail. They even let you get a beer and pour it in a styrofoam cup and drink it outside with your burger. Nice View of the river from the outdoor furniture on the deck.
