We’ve given this bakery multiple chances, but it’s always disappointing. While the cakes look great, they taste awful—dry and completely flavorless. On top of that, the owner is rude and unaccommodating, even when given plenty of notice. Definitely not worth the hassle or the money.

Not only was it incredibly delicious and our guest were raving about it, but it was stunning and was even more beautiful than we could’ve even dreamed. After several years and delicious cakes from TGC, I am taking my business elsewhere due to my most recent horrible experience. I do not hardly ever do poor reviews, but my last experience warrants one. To make a long story short, I ordered a pound cake with cream cheese icing that was discovered after having been picked up that it was without icing. After calling them back, they asked me to bring it back knowing I am not a local. Getting this mistake corrected was such a headache and the staff were defensive and wanting to place blame saying I had not ordered the cake to have icing, which I have a message to prove otherwise. Humans are not perfect and we all make mistakes, but it is common sense and good business practice to go above and beyond to right your wrongs, which was not the case here. As much as I have loved the product from this business, I feel like they have became too focused on quantity, over quality and it is showing.

I had the Galax Cakery make my grand daughter a Happy Sweet Sixteen cake. Not only was it perfect but the taste was incredible. They also make a fruit tray, vegetable tray, chicken salad croissant tray and sausage balls! I absolutely recommend them!

Bought a red velvet cake from there in nov....pretty good...very good customer service...back the week before Christmas...owner was not friendly at all...even scolding me for looking at items I was interested in buying..bought another red velvet cake..not good at all...ate one slice..still sitting here!!!...I will not return....drove 80 miles to get there!!...Thomas Tesh

I would suggest these wonderful people for all of your sweet baked goods. They did the wedding cake for my wife and I; and it turned out spectacular. We have them make the cakes for all of our birthdays and showers. They prepared cupcakes for our daughters housewarming shower for tomorrow. They were ready when I arrived, and the little lady inside was so friendly.
Everything I’ve gotten from here has been great! Recently I got the lemon blueberry cookies to try and they were just outta this world ?

The Cake we ordered was exceptionally beautiful. However what we ordered on the inside is not what we got. We ordered a tres leche strawberry cake. So I let the owner know, she said they put the milks into the cake and left out the strawberries but I feel like that isn’t the truth because the cake was very dry. We asked for a partial refund on the cake and we did receive it, but the owner was kind of rude over messenger and whoever talked to my husband in the store today when he went to get the refund was also rude about it.
