Twisted Fork Bistro Galax VA

Food was great! I got the twisted chicken with the mashed potatoes option and it was fabulous and filling. Broccoli and carrots were included. My husband got the salmon with spaghetti and it was great too. Noodles were definitely homemade. Side salads (slightly extra charge) were very tasty. I thought this was a very good restaurant. Staff were attentive, food came out in a reasonable time. Great little place.

Really great food and service. We enjoy going to eat there. The tiramisu is incredible! A little pricey but worth it.

We always have dinner here when we are in Galax. The food is consistently good and the portions are very generous. The wait staff is friendly and informal and you get to enjoy a great meal while you relax in their enormous booths.

The food is good but not above average. You have to pay for your bread. I think it is a little pricey.

All of our pasta dishes come with bread.

I'm giving 4 stars based on the delicious smells and the menu. It was so busy we couldn't dine there this trip but we will be back in October. Make a reservation. You may still have to wait but it will be worth it.

Came by for the first time, though definitely won't be the last! Staff was super friendly and the chicken marsala was amazing!! Hopefully next time I'll have room for dessert :)

Got seated and left . food wasn't good at all My salad was made of the inner part of the head of lettuce Spaghetti was really dry .really I could have done better . We didn't get asked for refills waiter stayed at this one table the entire time. We will never be back..ALL AROUND BAD EXPECTATIONS!!!!...

Hubby and I stumbled upon this Bistro while waiting for our dogs to be groomed. SO glad we did. It was excellent. Best place we have dined since moving to the mountains of Virginia. We really miss the restaurants where we used to live but this one is a top choice!!!

Best place in town for interesting entrees with an Italian/European feel. Most things on the menu are made in house, right down to the salad dressing. And definitely save room for dessert!

Great food, good service. Seems like a local favorite as well. Loved the entrees and really loved the cheesecake for dessert that came with a generous serving of raspberry sauce.

Two people recommended this place at the hotel I was staying in. I am glad I took their advice. We received a friendly welcome as soon as we arrived. The choices were very interesting and reasonably priced. The bowls of pasta when they arrived to the table were fantastic. They were hot,fresh and tasty. You could really tell that everything was fresh. The portions were large as well. The blueberry bread pudding was fantastic.

Excellent choice for fresh pasta. House made noodles and custom choices for meats. Ask for the daily special if they don't tell you first.
