Messed up my subs, complained and got a call but missed it. Have tried to call all day today and no one answers the phone. I won’t be using this subway again at least for delivery orders. Maybe they are fine for dine in orders outside the app but they suck for app delivery orders.

I placed a mobile order, they NEVER contacted me letting me know it couldn't be made because they were out of the bread and cheese I wanted so instead they just picked a random bread and cheese and sent it out, never even mentioned it to me.
If I wanted this I'd have ordered it.
Literally can't even fathom how they know they were out and instead of contacting the customer just slap something together.
This place is garbage since new management and staff came in.

I don't even know how to start this or what to write other than I have ate at probably 75-100 different Subways because I travel a lot and it's a universal menu that is on the healthy side of fast food. So I was passing through Gate City today and decided to stop in this Subway for a quick bite. I instantly felt a little better about it because there was a "under new management" sign right next to the door which typically means things are better than usual. Not here. I walked in and the place is pretty nice and modern looking, that's where the good times end. There were 2 young guys working and it was apparent they did not want to be there. It wasn't until the guy making my sub had to know what cheese I wanted that I even had a word spoke to me. This guy made this sub with fury in his soul is the only way I know how to describe it. He basically just took all the ingredients that was supposed to go on the sub and just slammed them haphazardly between the bread. Total words spoken during this entire transaction was 8 (I counted). Then when I got my food and sat down, literally every employee there just leaves. I'm sitting in this entire Subway alone. I could have literally just went through and took whatever I wanted because they never came back 🤣. As I left, I saw they were sitting on the sidewalk vaping and as I walked to the parking lot I got a "have a goodun" from the other guy which was shockingly friendly based on the last 20 minutes. Also, when he was making my sub, I noticed the lettuce looked like it was about a month old, but he had already put it on my sub, so I just went with it because I was starving. Fast forward til now (3 hours later), I'm laying I'm bed sick as a dog (I'm assuming it was the lettuce because I was fine up until then). I would have just been fine to chalk this up to a terrible experience and just simply not went back, but now this has turned into a health hazard, so I felt a Google review was warranted if for no other reason than a warning to others. If this is the new management, I don't even want to think about the old.

If you’re going to eat here, dine in so they don’t mess up your order. I’ve gotten multiple mobile app/call-in orders completely screwed up from this location. Sometimes (including earlier today) they put barely any meat and either put no sauce or the incorrect one. Sometimes I think that they mess them up on purpose. I also didn’t ask for my sandwich to be toasted and they went ahead and did it anyways. It was 85% hard and flaky bread, 10% veggies, and 5% meat.

The girl working super skinny has Terrible attitude mumbling under her breathe about having to do her job. Very disrespectful and rude definitely do not go here. She needs to be fired she has been awful to every person coming into this establishment as we have been sitting here. To busy trying to go outside hit her vape and leave customers alone in the store. DO NOT GO HERE GATE CITY VA!!! SOMETHING NEEDS YO BE DONE ABOUT THIS EMPLOYEE ASAP!!

Wesley was so nice and patient with me and all of my extra requests for my turkey sandwich. The restaurant was clean and the workers have always been friendly to us.

Horrible customer service. Tommy the worker is unsanitary. Make sandwiches with open wound uncovered on forearm. No aprons just dirty pullover that continued to run across sandwich while making. Throws and slammed things in rage when asked to move sandwiches away from dirty jacket. Store doesn't care. Would not recommend. Would suggest drive a little further to Jersey Mike's or different subway less likely to get something from unsanitary staff.

i love this sandwhich spot, they have great service which you dont find at very many places anymore. and the food tastes great and when i called about my uber eats order being over an hour late i called subway and one of the workers assisted me until i figured out what was wrong, definitely will visit again
