Ordered takeout didn't receive any utizels or napkins but didn't realize till back at the hotel room. The menu prices online need to be updated and the service was terrible. Asked for a receipt and had to wait for someone to find time to produce one all the time im standing there and my food is getting cold. When we did get to eat our food the steak in the tacos was tough. And the acp didn't taste very good. Ended up discarding it. Would NOT recommend and will not eat there again.

The bean dip was the proverbial white cheese that abounds in the Southeastern United States with a little bit of watery refried pinto beans mixed in. The 22 oz mug of Budweiser, though cold came from a tap that obviously has not been cleaned in far too long, lending it a slightly off taste but redeeming itself by its reasonable price and copious volume ($5.50/22oz). The house salsa appears to be homemade, for a slightly doctored bottled sauce, sliced onions being added to a thin red salsa that wasn't bad. thin fresh chips. The taco salad was a little bit on the small side, but the chicken in it was quite good, being stewed in the style that you might find in a tamale. A token slice of tomato and iceberg lettuce with cheese and sour cream
tldr: do come to El burrito loco, but get your beer in a bottle, and skip the bean dip

We've eaten here many times and the food is always great. BUT this time things were just off. We ordered cheese enchiladas, a bean burrito and a cheese burrito. First time, waitress brought out two orders of chicken enchiladas. Sent back. Next time, the cheese enchiladas came out, and a beef burrito, no cheese burrito. Sent the beef burrito back, the cheese burrito came out, and finally got the bean burrito. The food was excellent, but ???? Was the waitress getting the orders wrong, or someone in the kitchen? I've never had to send food back multiple times in any restaurant to get a correct order. Very strange and not in character for this restaurant. We will definitely be back, but next time will start out by having the server read the order back to us and hope for the best.

This restaurant is unassuming from the outside but the food was amazing. Definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. Price was more than fair for the portion. ( which was large)

Me and my mom ordered and the food was cold and the steak was as good as beef jerky. We only took one bite and left. Before we left I talked to the manager about a refund and he proceeded to tell me no, that I am paying for the whole meal and then called me broke people? Because I wouldn’t pay for the food even though we only took one bite. Threatened me that he was going to call the cops. I told him to call them then. Finally after 30 mins of arguing I paid for my 2 drinks and the cheese. Never coming back, very unprofessional and rude. GOODLUCK!!

Moved to Virginia from Texas about 3 years ago. Good mexican food is pretty much in my blood. This place is one of the best mexican places around. Food is very close to what I'm used to in Texas. Always good always hot

I knew from the start that I was really going to like this place once I tasted the salsa! The pork carnitas tacos were entirely delicious and I'm upset that I don't live nearby because this would be a regular staple for me and my boyfriend! Flavor, texture, temperature and the garnishes were so so so good! The boyfriend got steak fajitas which raised the bar for how steak fajitas from a Mexican restaurant should taste! If you live in the area or are passing through DO NOT disappoint your taste buds by passing up on this treasure of a restaurant!
really salty, but good service and really great prices. sooo cheap like my burrito was 9.50 and it was huge. also a 12oz margarita is 4.50, so even if the food is super salty, it was fine because the prices are so good. also, the salsa bar is a great touch. my favorite was the corn and bean salsa but the spicy one was great too. also appreciate the lemon in my water.
