Stopped at Sweet Ed's for lunch on my way to Gatlinburg. I love finding quaint little diners. And this was a wonderful choice. It is super cute with its Elvis theme and the food and service was awesome. Would definitely stop again. Has a great choice of sandwiches and daily specials that are home cooked. A great choice for about a 5 minute detour off 81.

I love all the gluten free options! This is the only restaurant I've found that has gluten free chicken tenders and they are amazing! Will definitely come back here 😊

Our server was very sweet. she did a great job. The food was not great though. The burger was 6/10, the bacon was crispy and very good, fries were pretty good. The hamburger steak was 8/10, the baked potato was inedible. it was hard and obviously old. it looked amazing all loaded up but unfortunately I was unable to eat it at all.

This place is amazing. I ate here today with my son and fiance for the first time and we were blown away! Everything is delicious and you get plenty of food for a very fair price. Our server was also wonderful! We'll definitely be returning.

We're from Louisiana, and came to VA for work. We have been wanting to try Sweet Ed's since the day we saw it on our way to our orientation for work. One day after work, we decided to go give it a try, but they were catering a wedding. That should already tell you something about their food. Well, we tried again another week or so later, and we are so glad we did. We got the daily special which was steak and gravy. It came with made from scratch mashed potatoes and corn as well as pumpkin poke cake. Needless to say, I ate too much, and needed a dolly to roll me to the truck. Our co-worker was with us that evening and suggested we go back the next evening. They had spaghetti for the daily special which came with a breadstick, salad and dessert of your choosing...pumpkin poke cake or strawberry cheesecake. We got the cheesecake, and it was so delicious. The staff is amazing. They are very attentive, and the owner was just as nice as can be. So if you are ever in Glade Spring, VA, I highly recommend you stop and give this little place a try if you are looking for a good home cooked meal. I truly believe you won't regret it.
