Our server was very sweet. she did a great job. The food was not great though. The burger was 6/10, the bacon was crispy and very good, fries were pretty good. The hamburger steak was 8/10, the baked potato was inedible. it was hard and obviously old. it looked amazing all loaded up but unfortunately I was unable to eat it at all.
This place is amazing. I ate here today with my son and fiance for the first time and we were blown away! Everything is delicious and you get plenty of food for a very fair price. Our server was also wonderful! We'll definitely be returning.
We're from Louisiana, and came to VA for work. We have been wanting to try Sweet Ed's since the day we saw it on our way to our orientation for work. One day after work, we decided to go give it a try, but they were catering a wedding. That should already tell you something about their food. Well, we tried again another week or so later, and we are so glad we did. We got the daily special which was steak and gravy. It came with made from scratch mashed potatoes and corn...
