Sweet Madeleine's Cafe and Catering

Emailed the owner, Angela ([email protected]), two weeks ago about catering my wedding reception and have not received a response. Requested a call to discuss my wedding reception via the Sweet Madeleine's website (“contact now” button at the bottom of the screen) and did not receive a response/follow up/acknowledgment of any kind. With the 11a-3p hours, a phone call to Sweet Madeleine's was not conducive with my work schedule. Disappointed by the lack of customer service, but luckily I found another company happy to assist.

Sweet Madeleines catered my mom's birthday party and I couldn't have been more delighted! The food was amazing! The best meatballs, potato salad, coleslaw, and berry cobbler I have ever had the pleasure of eating!! They did everything to set up and break down. Angie was a delight to work with. Highly recommend!!

Love, love, love Sweet Madeline's Cafe. The meals that we, my mom and I, have eaten over the years has been very fulfilling. Just had a small catered 50th birthday party for my husband. Yummy!

They did a three day training for us down in Newport News. Good, healthy food with variety at state rates. Can't lose.

Amazing caterer!! Sweet Madeleine's provided hors-d'oeuvres and a family-style dinner for 90 people at our daughter's outdoor wedding reception. The staff were so gracious and attentive to our guests. And the food was crazy delicious. I highly recommend the Chicken Chesapeake as a main dish. We received many compliments on the food, and the owner was so relaxed at our planning meetings as well as during the event. Thank you for making this wedding a truly special event for us all. I agree that the crab soup at the restaurant IS the best.

The food was delicious and our waitress was amazing. She was serving multiple tables, keeping every order straight, and all with a smile on her face and kindness in her voice. Definitely a great lunch spot.

There are few places you can go to find incredible quiche. Absolutely heavenly. The perfect texture the perfect ingredients. Actually, the whole menu is FABULOUS.

Food was good but the waitress was so rude. Absolutely no personality and seemed like it was a bother to wait on us.

Angela and her helpers catered a party for me last weekend. Everything was perfect: food, decor, drinks, service. I could not have been more pleased and my guests were amazed, too, at the attention to detail.The food was all delicious. I highly recommend Sweet Madeleines for your next catered event. You can be confident your event will be perfect with Angela in charge.
