Came to Octoberfest and wine and beer were great. Kerstin Kitchen food truck was awful. They stopped serving or taking orders for over an hour and ran out of some foods before 3pm.

What a lovely place - we had a wonderful evening listening to live music and tasting wine and cider - the ambiance is like you are sitting in your living room with family! Seafood food truck was also great. And thank you Nate for coming to our rescue when our RV had a little mechanical issue - we greatly appreciate you all!

I’m so lucky we stumbled upon this family owned winery on our way up to Roanoke! We did 2 tastings (one white and bubbles; one red) and enjoyed the wine and the views in our Adirondack chairs. The Cabernet, Tempranillo, and white rabbit were amazing, but the Merlot which is estate grown was our favorite! You definitely get a family feel here. Everyone was so sweet. Will be back to try the beer and the frozen wines!

What a lovely winery! Such delicious wines and a fantastic variety for all taste buds. There's even beers on tap! There's a beautiful view of the vineyard in the sitting area where the tasting room is and very comfortable seats! Tons of games and activities for everyone. I cannot wait to return!

This is such a comfortable place to visit. The views are lovely (getting better as the colors change) staff is wonderful and there is a pool table ans a foosball table. Who needs more?

Here for their oktoberfest. Super cute winery. Great indoor and outdoor space. Wine slushy was awesome. Food vendors were so good. Wish the pretzel person didn't run out. Would definitely have got another. Brat tent had veggie dog..very happily surprised. Bands were great. It was a perfect day to sit outside. We stayed here with our Trailer (winery is a Harvest host). Perfect place to stay and visit. Hiking i. Tbe morning...beer wine and food right here after. Pic is our 40' trailer. Plenty of room and us at the winery.

Went with friends for a long weekend at SML and discovered this winery. It was THE BEST! We did the sweet wine flight and they were all so good, as were our slushies. My husband is not a wine drinker so he had one of their craft beers and he loved it. The owners are so nice! We will definitely be back next time we are at SML!
