This was our first trip to the ice house. The deviled eggs were to die for, don’t sleep on those! The fried chicken was literal perfection and the potato wedges and the other sides were amazing as well. Exceptional service and the sweet tea was perfect!

Atmosphere is really nice and the restaurant is really clean in a very unique setting that maintains its historic charm. Service was okay, we stood for a few waiting to be seated and then waited a few more waiting to be served. The server did explain that shift change was happening and we were in no rush so it didn’t bother us at all. Deviled eggs were amazing and so was the chicken salad. The fries were delicious and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken was a little salty for my taste and my daughter had the same issue with the chicken sandwich. Overall good experience and will definitely eat there again to try one of the burgers.

Food was Fabulous, we had fried chicken and mac'n cheese. our waitress was wonderful, great service her, however the rest of the staff was busy standing around watching her get things done.

Very nice staff. A bit of a loud environment. The saltiest food I've been served in a long time. No I should have sent it back, others at my table felt the same after we talked about the meal on the way home.

My coworker recommended this place and swore that the chicken was amazing. I’m not sure if it was the timing or if I’m a food snob but the overall the food was decent. Crown Fried Chicken in urban neighborhoods taste better than this (not to include the price point). The price was a bit more than I expected but the presentation was spot on. The packaging was unique and boutique-ish. The venue was large , indoors was bright and clean. Tons of parking in the rear. I asked for hot honey with my chicken but didn’t taste it or get any on the side. I was en route to a 2 hour destination so I had to enjoy my meal in the car. The deviled eggs with bacon were tasty and the chicken was not as piping hot as I wanted it to be. I feel that this place is geared towards the local crowd of regulars. Based on the breading of the chicken, it felt like that it was reheated as opposed to freshly made. I could be totally wrong though. Anywho….the coleslaw was good. Would I return? Probably not but if you’re an out of towner and looking for a quick meal that’s decent, get it to go.
Good place for a quick bite or to watch a game. Burgers and chicken. Good but not spectacular. Reasonable prices for drinks. Burgers are $14 to $17 though. Friendly staff.

We just enjoyed a delicious meal, and couple of nice cold beers. We had the special, the pot pie, recommend by the friendly bartenders and parmesan fries. The beer menu had a decent selection, as well as cocktail options. Everyone on staff was nice and pleasant. We will be back and happily recommend!
