If I could give zero stars I would. I ate at this place when they first opened and the food was very poor. The chicken taste like it’s out of a can, clearly boiled . O type of seasoning. I wouldn’t call this “authentic Mexican “ what an insult. Decided to give this place another shot years later and my experience was even worse this go around. I was highly disappointed again. The food is so bland. And the chicken did not change! Still nasty and bland. My taco was runny as well as my quesadilla. I asked the waiter if she could take it back she proceeded to ask if I wanted a box. As if I’m still going to pay for it. Her manager came and questioned why I didn’t want the food. I told him it was bland taste like it’s not seasoned. He didn’t care. If my boyfriend didn’t offer to pay for the food. He was going to get me for “dine and dash” will never be eating here again. First time the food was poor. Second time food and service was poor. We did not tip!

The best restaurant in town. We came from DC just for this.

Pretty place but the service is slow and leisurely, and the food is just not the level of Mexican food that you can find elsewhere. We regretted going. As soon as I saw the salsa, I knew we had made a mistake. It was basically spicy tomato sauce. It didn't really get better from there.

I have been a regular for a long time but service is getting bad. I was asked to move to let a person behind me who was dining in and a wait list of 40 minutes go ahead of me. I had ordered online and already paid. Also, last several times items have been forgotten on orders.

My husband took me there for Mother’s Day. It was packed. The food was very good even though we sat in the bar area to get quicker service. It was still pleasant. I gave it five stars even though our server forgot to bring me my fries seemed like he had a little too many tables that he could handle so maybe on holidays you might wanna staff it a little bit better but good atmosphere good food servers need a little more training sorry guys

Our server went on break and nobody came to check on us, refill our drinks, or provide the check. The tea was gross and the burrito was bone dry. They offered no discount for the inconvenience.

We ate dinner here on a busy Sunday night, so perhaps it's not fair to judge, but being used to some really fabulous Mexican restaurants in Northern Virginia, we were underwhelmed. The chips were sort of chewy and stale and the salsa was so spicy that we finally gave up. We both like moderately spicy food, but the salsa was painful. The food was hot, and the servings were generous. It was very noisy which wasn't the fault of the restaurant, but between the noisy people and being seated next to the servers' station, we didn't have much ability to carry on a conversation. I know many people like this restaurant, but for us, an elderly couple staying at the nearby Hampton Inn, it was not a relaxing dinner.

Great food. Queso was spicy and delicious. Jumbo shrimp were awesome. Tamale is chicken with Verde sauce which was unexpected but delicious.
