Saw Hardees had a $9 Burger meal deal and I tried them for the 1st time. Burger was an overcooked tiny piece of trash. Not much bigger than a White Castle burger. Fries were good. Coke was filled halfway with ice. If the meal was only $4, I wouldn't go back. Burger tasted like leather. Complete RIPPOFF. Also took them about 15 minutes at the drive thru waiting with no other customers. The worst burger experience in my life.

If youre on here looking for a review that isnt written by some dumb boomer who doesnt comprehend that the review is for this LOCATION not HARDEES AS A WHOLE, this is your review This ones crap. I live 5 minutes away and ive eaten there off and on for the last few years. I have never witnessed them put an order together correctly that isnt just a "normal number 5 large with coke" anything beyond that is too difficult during the rushes, for them, especially if you order 2 fries. Youll get 1. Its happened a good 5 times, for me. They will happily take 15 minutes to serve you a cold sandwich at the drivethru too, which absolutely blows my mind. I think ive personally given this establishment a good $35 i never ended up getting food for, and im cool with it because the last few times ive ordered.. i genuinely wouldnt have fed it to a street dog. They need to tear it down and put a company there thatll try. The old gordonsville people only buy it because theres no alternative and theyre too lazy to go to charlottesville.

This is one of the most disappointing and disgusting places that I have seen. We usually go through the drive thru at this location, the drive thru was backed up to the main road so I decided to go inside and order. The bathroom was horrible, there was one lady ahead of me that ordered before me and I still waited almost 5 mins to order. I should have walked out then! There were flies landing on my son who went in with me, prep and bagging area was disgusting, and the food set in warmer forever. Made sure none of that was given to us. I also watched the lady bagging drive thru food, pick up fries that she spilled on counter, pick them up with her bare hands and put them in the bag!! If I had not already paid with a card and who knows how long it would've taken to get someone to help with that process. ...... I would have left. Most likely it would have been faster than our food was. Someone should really consider taking a closer look into this facility. My preference would be the health department. Needless to say, we will not be visiting this location at all any longer.

Ordered inside at 2:42 pm watched about 15 or 20 drive through orders for our. Finally at 2:58 pm I had to go to the counter and ask for my food. The manager was not concerned whatsoever ever. He started to bag my food, clearly on the receipt it said Done In, when I said that it's for here, he slammed the tray down and slammed my sandwiches on the tray. He also tried to give us small fries when again the receipt said medium. He did not give two cents about our order or wait. The burgers were ice cold and the buns were hard as bricks. I didn't bother to return because we knew that they didn't care at all.....The restaurant was filthy, it had not been cleaned in a while. There were flies everywhere. We will never eat there again. Food, service and cleanliness all a big fat 0.
Hardee's is hands down the best of the big brand drive thru's in southern VA, like the one in Floyd, the only drive thru in the county. A 91 year old neighbor turned me on to Hardlee's. He wouldn't go anywhere else, even if I had to drive him out of the way. Great biscuits burgers, hot ham & cheese on a bun, crinkle cut fries (if you like those kind), and friendly folks. Try the BIG BAG deal. No need to upsize it.
Vegetarian options: Fries, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, plain biscuit.. . you can get full in a pinch.
Kid-friendliness: Kiddlees loves Hardlee's

Horrible service they charged me 18$ for 3 milkshakes and a fry and then handed me horribly sticky cups that were messy and half full of ice cream and when I asked girl why they were only half full she said cause someone's an asshole and walked away
