We were driving through town to make it home and had to stop for coffee. We were met with the sweetest barista (who had amazing braids) who was very patient as it was our first time visiting. We got a hot brew and a slice of the key lime cheesecake and were in love with both. (I would love to know what beans are used here because the coffee was so delicious!). It was such a positive experience for our long drive home and if we’re ever back in the area we would have to stop by again!

We went with Krecek Kakes for our wedding reception and we LOVED how it turned out. Their carrot cake is the best I have ever had, and their cupcakes were wonderful too. Our guests raved over it as well. The service was great and Genesis was really easy to work with, I definitely recommend them!!

Just stopped in here on our way home, got a chai latte, a coffee, and one of their house made ice cream sandwiches. Everything was delicious and the girl at the counter was so sweet. Great vibes, beautiful patio.

The dirty chai tea was surprisingly delicious. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio in the sun since the air temperature was rather chilly.

I pre ordered a carrot cake 2 days before our event. I was told the coconut cake was a staple for them. So when I picked up my cake I asked for the coconut in the case. There was some confusion in translation and I received another carrot cake. Not checking the boxes till I arrived that afternoon, and realizing i had 2 of the same cakes. I called frantically hoping they had another coconut cake, which they did not. The owner and her husband went above and beyond to get me the coconut cake within the hour of the party. The carrott cake was good, but the coconut was the hit of the night. There was not a piece left. Can't say enough about the customer service, and the cakes were great too!

We stopped here while on a cabin trip. The breakfast wraps were delicious and the coffee was great. They have the traditional table seating and the option to sit on a comfortable couch and chairs as well for a more casual style. The bakery items we tried were also TO DIE FOR. Don't skip out on the walnut fig bars!

I wasn’t really sure what to expect initially, since their online presence is a little minimal, but BOY was I bowled over.
They have every pastry that you could think of. Cakes, cake slices, brownies, cookies, ice cream, truffles, cupcakes, and PIE.
I got the peanut butter pie and I’m so glad to tell you that it’s made the CORRECT way where everything is blended together into a light mousse. And as a nice touch, you can tell that the crust is made from scratch (since they don’t make Oreo crusts anymore to buy and this one had some nice heft and actual crumb to it, I know for certain it’s not store bought).
We didn’t go for lunch, but I did see a thorough lunch menu offered next to the register.
Also, the coffee was sublime, and well brewed.
The amount of careful and kind detail put into every single dessert makes me so shocked that everything is only made by one person. The last time I made an iced layer cake, I needed a weekend to do it, and meanwhile, there are multiple fresh ones in the cases. This woman (I was told it was the cashiers wife, a co-owner) must have the energy and enthusiasm of a 6 year old given espresso. She should be studied and lauded for her expertise.
Stopped in yesterday to pick up some sweets and an iced tea to go. A beautiful young woman named Priyah waited on me. She was SO smiley and welcoming . . . a real asset to the Krecek Kakes experience! Looking forward to stopping in again sometime soon!

WOW! I barely know how to begin. My wife and I saw this place online while planning a trip to Gordonsville, VA. We found it easily enough and parking was not a problem. Their candy and baked goods are so tasty that it is hard to describe them using believable words. My wife bought a small assortment of their fudges, and I had a fig/walnut cake. Friendly staff and excellent delicacies make this a place you will want to visit again and again. I want to go back right now.
