We were meeting a couple new to the area to get acquainted with them. The atmosphere was conducive to conversation and the food was delicious. At 8 pm a live band started setting up and within a few minutes it was as loud as a rock concert. We were no longer able to continue talking so left the restaurant as soon as we finished our desserts. I wish I would have known there was a live band so we could have chosen another night or come sooner. Other than the band, it was great.
I came for the Easter brunch Buffett with omelet station. I diddn't make a deal of it when I was there cause I would just disrupt our brunch with my family. I ordered an omelet and said no cheese and it was mushy and had cheese all over it. I chalked up to miscommunication and I ordered another. It was so undercooked and not solid I had to drink it with water to not spit it in my plate to be respectful of the others at the table. I diddn't eat any more. Easter brunch is more about the event rather than the meal so it diddn't ruin my morning. But I just had to say how horrible the omelet was that I had remade. Like if you had egg toothpaste added ham I onion and mushroom and just mixed it up and seared the outside. So gross. And with tip $90+ a head.
For Easter brunch, this was incredibly overpriced. The buffet was mediocre in size, and there was nothing served that was worth going back for more. I would have rather spent $100 at Silver Diner than $250+ on this meal. I still wonder how this place is still in business...the foot traffic was slow, waitstaff were meh, and there was nothing that made us feel like it was a special day or meal. We will be passing on any other opportunities to dine here.
Braised roast beef was fabulous; Wednesday night the restaurant had a baritone sax and electric guitar jazz duo playing; they were a great addition; overall a great experience.
We made the first of what I hope to be many trips to BRX last weekend. Excellent food and service, with a menu that is definitely a step above the norm but at accessible pricing.
The food and service is always great when we're here. The inside of the restaurant is bright, welcoming and warm. BRX is constantly on our restaurant rotation b/c it never disappoints.
We had an enjoyable meal. Service was attentive but slow. Ambiance with piano and string bass added a nice touch !
Andrew and his team have a hidden gem here in Great Falls! We've now been for brunch, HH and dinner and all experiences have been excellent. Pro-tip: after you've enjoyed a great meal at the Bistro, pop over to the bar at BRX Oven and have a night cap - the staff is friendly and attentive and it's a fun spot! Also, try the pepperoni rolls!
The food was ok, nothing special. But the service was bad. The place wasn't crowded but it was if we didn't exist. We had to ask twice for our grandsons food, even though we had ordered it as soon as we sat down. There are better places in the area. We won't go back

Food was incredible and service was excellent.
The only drawback was the out of control toddler in the bar area. Mom and Dad needed to take control, but the restaurant, food and service were fantastic.

Brx used to be a quiet spot for a nice dinner. Lately, they've been having large groups and there's no private room so it's so noisy. The first time it was a Little League team dinner with kids running all over. Last night they had wine tasting. I like their new ideas but they need a private room for these events.
Brx recently catered an off-site Celebration of Life at The Lake House in Reston. 120 guests, passed canapes, open bar, food stations, desert and coffee. Andrew, Chef Chris and the entire staff was superb to work with. Professional, and went out of their way to provide an unforgettable experience. Feedback from guests was extremely positive and I would recommend without reservation using Brx for any of your entertaining needs, on or off-site.

We are liking the new ownership at Brix. My wife and I have enjoyed consistently good food and pleasant service dining at Brix 4 or 5 times in the last 4 months. The wine selection is good and the pricing quite fair- one doesn't often get Far Niente chardonnay for less that $100/btl at local restaurants. Last night my wife's asparagus risotto was quite good. Our friends enjoyed their pappardelle very much - he asked for bread to sop up the leftover sauce -always a good sign. We also ordered 2 of the evening special paella which was over a risotto which was unusual since one expects the "crunchy" rice base of a paella. The flavor was excellent and the seafood (clams, mussels, shrimp, halibut) was generous. No chicken but bits of chorizo to add some flavor or the land. It would be better described as a seafood risotto which would better manage expectations. Service was well paced and comfortable.
This is a very nice neighborhood restaurant with very good food. It is a little tough to park and the service can be slow. There is a nice patio garden and the staff seem friendly. Prices are standard for the area. I highly recommend you try it.
Love Brix and want all local business to succeed so this is pursuant to that. Service was prompt and Isaac was courteous. Asked for fried oysters which were not on the menu and got them - excellent by the way. Asked to sub broccoli for asparagus and got asparagus. Asked for bread and it never came - we had to remind them and actually got it after the meal was finished. Careless mistakes but not what patrons would expect from a top restaurant. We will be back and hope these comments are helpful.
