Jaques' Brasserie is the undercroft of L'Auberge Chez Francois. It has a simpler menu, but the food is prepared with the same excellence as L'Auberge. It's a more casual dining experience, but the service is still top tier. I had the sweat breads and calves' liver -- both were excellent. The wine list was perfect for the Brasserie, and the deserts and aperitifs were superb (I had a poire williams, my wife a Mirabelle, which are hard to find. We'll be back.

A delightful meal in less formal surroundings. The food is every bit as good as it is upstairs, bur 4 courses are optional. We had a wonderful time, ate delicious food and were done in less than 2 hours - a plus for us.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. The waiter and the sommelier both were very solicitous and helpful. The food was delicious, although heavy on the butter for my (but not my husband's) taste.

The dinner and service was excellent. It was loud in the restaurant. I thought we were receiving the more formal part of the restaurant which is what I thought I reserved. Our waiter was EXCELLENT. He was prompt and very personable. We enjoyed speaking to him. I would definitely return without hesitation. Thank you. Fred C.
