I’m not sure why locals love maybe I ordered the wrong dishes. But recommend staying away from the brisket nachos and Mac and cheese. Atleast the teenage labor keeps prices low here

Really only downside is the bbq platter for the price point felt a bit lacking (maybe a 3rd side or more meat at that price?)
Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu. Brisket slider and side (did fries) with apple slices is one of the best menus/price points for $6 I’ve seen in NOVA… this would be the main reason I’d go back if we did.

This was my first time here. Stopped in here with my fiancé for dinner. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. A small, home feeling atmosphere. Our server Annie, was absolutely wonderful. She was a joy and amplified our wonderful dining experience. The food is SO GOOD. I had 13 wings with Mac n cheese and my fiancé had the brisket with onion rings and cinnamon apples. Everything was so delicious. Banana pudding for desert to top it off. We will be back for sure! Thank you Annie and Mookie's BBQ team!

Really cool spot about 5 minutes from where I grew up in Great Falls. I have only been back 2ce since graduating high school and found Mookie's to be an EXCELLENT new restaurant. THE BBQ was killer (had the burnt ends sandwich and shared the nachos).

Heavenly!! Got the brisket burnt ends with a side of onion rings and coleslaw. The burnt ends were a perfect flavor triad of tender, juicy, and char. Onion rings were nice and flaky and the coleslaw was on point. Side of chili and cornbread were perfect as well. Washed it all down with a local sour beer. Will definitely be back.

First of all, I want to say that the main reason I'm leaving this review is because of the phenomenal service. My partner and I came last night and it was absolutely packed (we were later informed that there was a fundraiser that night, but luckily we areived on the tail end). We were seated immediately. Our server was amazing. He was respectful, helpful, friendly, and attentive. Don't get me wrong, we REALLY enjoyed the food. The brisket and turkey were delicious and perfectly cooked, and we loved all of our sides (especially the beans and mac 'n cheese, the seasonal veggie was also yummy but needed a bit of salt). We would absolutely be back even if the service had been terrible. However, the service last night was undoubtedly the highlight of our experience. We can't wait to be back!

The portions, the quality of the food has gone down drastically… I got 6, baby back ribs, they were 2 inches with only fat on them and hardly any meat. It’s really embarrassing!!! See the picture, that’s 6 bones. Is this what you serve on a holiday weekend???

Really great BBQ with ample portions. Smoked Turkey is excellent as is the Burnt Ends. Large party room definitely needs some blinds and shades to deal with afternoon sun. Pleasant service.
