Mama Rosa's is more than a restaurant. You're literally family there! I have never been a regular at any other place where they care for you like this place. And it feels like the most comfortable place to be. Yes there food is awesome! But it is above and beyond that reason the i love to be here. They are a part of my family as well! A very special thank you to Jamie, the owner. You're kindness during my family's hard times means more than you'll ever know. And to my servers, all of you have been a very special part of my life also. You know who you are. I thank you for always taking care of my family and guests whenever we're there. and not just doing You're job, but showing compassion and kindness too. We visited here for dinner as it was across the street from our hotel. The wait time wasn’t long. I ordered the chicken Marsala which wasn’t very appetizing but I ate it so it wouldn’t go to waste. It wasn’t terrible but I was expecting for the mushrooms and pasta to be smothered in the Marsala sauce. Once you added salt and pepper it was much better. The chocolate mousse cake was also frozen, but once thawed it was good. Also some of my family ordered pizza slices and their veggies were practically raw on top of their pizza. Overall it was a decent experience.

Had high hopes for Mama Rosa’s since all the lake locals rave about it, made the drive to pickup some dinner, Chicken Alfredo was so bland, and the garlic cheese bread…. was just cheese on a sub roll? I was very confused about that. The only good thing was the ranch & the Cobb salad & that’s the only reason I gave MR atleast 3 stars!

If you try to call and place an order any time after 7:30 you can just about guarantee they won’t answer the phone. They close at 9. This isn’t a one off , its a pretty regular occurrence. I get not taking orders after like 8:30/8:45 but to not answer the phone at all after 7:30 is crazy. Your close time should reflect when you stop taking orders. Several other Italian restaurants in the area that answer the phone, and have better food. Place has gone downhill.
