We were only in town for the day and searching the area for a restaurant and this restaurant had great reviews. And looking at the pictures, all of the food looked delicious and the restaurant looked very inviting. We were not disappointed! The food WAS delicious! The lattes were great and the service was outstanding. Would recommend.

First time visit today. Great food, great atmosphere and great service!!! Our group had the turkey club, the chicken Caesar salad, and an omelet. All were excellent! We also indulged in a latte and cinnamon roll. Again all were excellent!!! Don't second guess the cinnamon roll... let them heat it, and then just eat it!!! I've seen this place many times but never been there. I'll definitely make the extra drive to go back. Thanks ladies for the awesome service today!

Came to try out their latte and did not like it. Pouring the coffee inside the plastic cup was questionable. And the syrup was also in the cup so it was quick and easy to make which isn’t really worth almost 8 dollars. Pour the ice into the coffee thus watering it down. Toped it off with milk and swirled it and called it a day. I don’t recommend their coffee but their food and atmosphere looks really good. Service was just fine.

I typically do not review restaurants until I've eaten there at least three times. For me anyone can have a bad day so I hate to rate someplace poorly on just one visit. But also I like to rate restaurants on consistency. The pod has been nothing but consistent in the best way over the years that we visited. The atmosphere is always awesome. The food is always served fresh, uniquely good and seems like a very good value for the price. Imagine if Starbucks was local, fresher and better. That is the Pod.
I highly recommend trying it, even if you are not a coffee drinker. While I hear that the coffee is excellent, the food and environment are worth a stop every time we are in the area regardless.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here for years and we have never had a bad experience. The coffee is amazing and the food is clean, simple and fresh at decent prices. A breakfast sandwich and coffee would run you about $13. I can't recommend the place enough.

I am a self described coffee house afficionado and a relative newcomer to country life coming out of a big city background. I have found one of the nicest coffee houses ever in Central VA. Located in central Gretna, this place has great food, excellent lattes, great atmosphere, great service and pleasant music. Evidently, this place is run by pros. Anyone traveling State Route 29 must make this a stop for breakfast, lunch or coffee.
