I was at Grottoes subway at 7:00 pm Friday night on October 4th. The young girl that waited on me was excellent. My complaint is the other employee on duty went home. Leaving only one young girl there. She was trying to do online orders and walk ins. She was handling the job, but should not have been expected to work alone on a Friday night. Not safe..

When I asked for the Italian bread I was as told, oh you mean the white bread? It was tough. Not crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. IT WAS TOUGH. A lot smaller than the old subs too. Boo subway

This is got to be the best place to eat at grottoes Virginia! All the staff is really fine and makes me smile every time! The bread is always done just right there's always lots of meats cheeses and fresh veggies ready to go. And tonight Aaron piled on extra bacon and extra cheese on my steak and cheese sandwich just the way I love it!
