Better than ur mom's cooking and the 90s Christian music was highly commendable. Who ever made the decision to put the TV on 90s contemporary Christian music should be rewarded the centurie's humanitarian award because 90s Christian music was the one and only decade they made Christian music. It was like stepping back in time to music I grew up with. Oh and the food was excellent.

The very moment me and my fiancé walked into Dotson's we were expecting more of an old-fashioned diner experience, instead were meted with an employee who had the attitude of a lunch lady who was living in the school boiler room. Then the food which that day was advertised as homemade hamburger steaks and fresh mashed potatoes were frozen Salsbury steak patties and freshly microwaved, the only way I'd ever return is just to see how much worse it can get. If price is an issue in 2022 and you want as much value for your buck, then try anywhere else

I had the hamburger steak special and my husband had a really good turkey club. Fresh homemade mashed potatoes! Butterscotch milkshake for dessert was awesome!
We moved to Grundy about a year and a half ago. We stumbled upon Dotson's and fell in love with the food and atmosphere. They're very reasonable in price and it's good down home southern cooking. It's become our local favorite. I'd most certainly recommend this little roadside restaurant to anyone. Comfort food with friends.

Owner was great but the lady behind the counter was grumpy. It was like we had bothered her by coming in. It wont be there much longer cause the highways going through that area.
