The view! The view! Go for the view. And, the crab cakes. Between those two, you are all set. I also had the rockfish bites and had them broiled, not fried. Excellent. They also have a great bourbon collection.

Below is the message I sent to management. I was not looking for anything more than an acknowledgement they read it, maybe even an apology for the poor service, but I did not get the courtesy of either . "I just wanted to make you aware of a bad experience we had yesterday. I decided not to write a review, because we typically have positive experiences there, but yesterday was not it. We arrived at around 3:00 PM to take my daughter out for her birthday and were seated on the back deck. We ordered and were served our appetizers and drinks fairly quickly and then we ordered our four entrees. About 40 minutes after that, the waitress came out and we asked how much longer. She said - should be up soon, I leave at 4:00. I said, I hope so, I might leave before that. We laughed. 5 minutes later she came back and said the cook did not have crab cakes and was waiting to hear if we wanted something else…. We told her to forget the crab cakes and just bring the 3 orders that were ready out - to which she said, he was waiting to start those based on the crab cakes..... We left... As a customer, we would have expected to hear 10 minutes after we put the order in if there was a problem, NOT 40+ minutes later when we asked if the order was almost up. And if the cook put the order to the side, he should have made sure to follow-up with the waitress. Not sure where the communication broke down, but I know we were the ones who wasted our time."

We have ordered carry out on Sat. and been really happy but took friends on a Sunday afternoon and the menu choices left much to be desired... we were told that we need to get by earlier in the weekend to get the best choice of sea food

I have been coming here for years and now that it's renovated it is even better then ever. Plenty of space and great food.

Went for the first time just a few weeks ago....Food was excellent. I had never had fried flounder bf but this was truly good. Not greasy at all. Everyone in our party enjoyed their selection. Will definitely go back for more!

By boat or car this place has the best views and awesome food! Chris and Anne’s restaurant has fresh food cooked while you wait and a friendly comfortable atmosphere. No longer just a bar but now a family friendly restaurant!

I visited this tavern 20 years ago by boat. We finally got a calm enough ride from Maryland - first time back since its been open. They did a very good job getting us drinks and food. We sat on the eastern deck in the shade with a fantastic view of Ragged Point. Good beer selection and the food was surprisingly good. Their pizza is excellent! In my opinion this restaurant should be on every boaters bucket list.

I'd heard that they served the Best Seafood Pizza so I HAD to go and try it . We had a wonderful experience and the Pizza was out of this world! a Friend ordered their Fish and it too was really good.

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly dining with an awesome view. We dined outside and enjoyed several hours until the wind picked up. Tried the pizza, which was good. Fried oysters and loaded fries are also a good bet. They have a nice selection of beer/cider. A great place to enjoy the spring/summer weather. They have music, and we intend to check that out next time.

Family took a motorcycle ride & had a nice lunch at the Tavern.. Friendly people. Relaxing atmosphere. Recommend steamed shrimp, fried pickles & sweet potato fries.
