Stopped here after attending a JMU tour, in which it was said that Benny's is a bucket list experience and that the slices were as big as your head (according to JMU students). Not one to shy away from a challenge, I went to Benny's with the express intent of measuring my head against one of their pizza slices. I would say my head was still bigger, but the pizza slices lived up to the hype. These are massive slices (now image how big my head must be). At first, I thought we could order a whole pie. But with prices exceeding $40.00, we thought better and ordered the slices. I got one pepperoni and a siracha sausage slice (which was much better than the pepperoni. The slices were solid and I can understand why the students flock here. The thing I really liked is that you can hold the slice up to your head and you don't have to worry about the toppings sliding off or getting a grease bath on your pants below. I think Dave Portnoy ranked the pizza around 6.5 mark, but I would give it a 7, which I think is a respectable number. Seating is limited, but we came during off hours so it wasn't a problem. Also no fountain sodas, so everything's in a bottle or can.

I went to VA Tech where we have a Benny’s and there is a new location in Manassas, VA where I live. The Harrisonburg location is not great. I ordered a full pizza to go for my family and friends on a recent weekend trip to Massanutten. Ordered on the phone, quick and easy, and the service was great. The people working there were very kind. Unfortunately, the pizza was just sooo bad. I think the novelty of a gigantic pizza is fun but in practice, it’s hard to make it delish. The pizza was so thin and hard it was like eating cardboard. There wasn’t really any sauce on the pizza and there were so many crust bubbles. Maybe it would have been different if we got individual slices but I won’t be back to this location.

This is a great affordable pizza place. The iconic giant slices are hard not to love. The staff is friendly yet not overbearing. Super relaxed energy. Highly recommend!

Disappointed. We eat at the Charlotte/Noda Benny's very often. I guess each Benny's has different operating standards.I asked for sausage with mushrooms. My standard order back in NC. I was told the only way to get mushrooms was in a mixture of ricotta cheese and some other ingredients.I settled for sausage and cheese. My Coworker got the BBQ Chicken. His looked amazing. My slice was way over cooked and literary half the size of his.I guess my questioning why I couldn't get mushrooms created some animosity and my order suffered because of it.I will continue doing business with other Benny's, but will not be returning to this store.

OMG, one size pizza! This is not a pizza for you and your mom. This pizza is for a basketball team. It was delicious. We were passing through and someone recommended. It was delicious and worth it for $40, compared to a 16" large pie. This is 28" pie. They do offer slices.
