Had a gift certificate to go here. Me and the wife went there and eat about 20 years ago and was satisfied. So 5 of us went there to eat. Tried calling there an hour before we arrived but phone was not working. Got there an hour and 30 minutes before closing (730). They refused to serve us. Said had no steak. No seafood. And people with reservations in front of us? Not sure what the issue is with this place, with operating hours till 9 on Saturday and not able to serve us but we won't be returning here. I can honestly say I have never been to a restaurant that refused to serve me. Sad.
Warm atmosphere. Great service. Tasty seafood.

This will be the last time we will go here. We sat for 45 minutes before we were even talked to by a waitress. Four tables that were sat after us had food by the time we had our drinks. We never had our drinks refilled the entire time. After 2 hours our food came and all of us had the wrong sides, my steak was medium rare not rare, and my wife's food was wrong as well. I guess the management didn't care because we never received any compensation for everything that was wrong.
It was a very disappointing birthday dinner for our best friend. We all will never go to the Blue Stone again after this night. The sad part is they probably won't care, or understand why we won't be back. We will just take all of our special nights out to Dan's Steak House from now on. I have never had a bad meal at Dan's and my steaks are prepared perfectly every time.
It's your choice to choose to eat at Blue Stone. It will either be a great night or the worst night out at a restaurant. I wouldn't take the chance these days.

Visited for the first time on 8/22/25. From outside it is unpretentious. Inside it is not large, but very enjoyable decor. We got there at opening (4:30) and plenty of seating. Left at 6:00 and all tables filled. The menu has plenty of variety but is skewed towards seafood. The prices were reasonable to us (coming from the NY metropolitan area). We had a drink each, main entree and meal beverage. With a generous tip came to $83. Now as to the food, we do not go out too often, but considering our age, we’ve plenty of experience. Our two meals were excellent. I ordered the catfish, and I’ve never had any the were remotely close. I was remarking all the way home how good it was. I told my neighbor at the KOA where we are RVing (and they are going tomorrow.) My wife had the scallops and she really liked them, and I tried one. It was perfectly cooked, not chewy at all. Excellent service. Obviously, we highly recommend.

Missing a 5th star because they were out of potatoes and totally forgot the substitute greens. The food we did get was served piping hot and was delicious.

Restaurant closed the past 3 times we came to celebrate special occasions… once there was a note left on the door, second time a last minute Facebook post and this time today, Wednesday, August 13th… nothing! Called several times with no answer despite saying on days they are open someone will be there from 12:30 on to answer phone. Which once was a timeless classic has sadly taken a wrong turn!
This was a timeless favorite of ours and always had good memories however for the past 3 times we’ve driven 45 minutes only to find out they were surprisingly closed. The first time there was a note on the door but the most recent two times there was nothing! I did speak to a lady the next day who said to follow them On Facebook and check that page for notices of closings, etc. which I did today as well as calling several times with no answer when the page states there will be someone there to answer the phone from 12:30 on days they are open. I messaged them on Messenger as well when we were sitting in the parking lot. This is unacceptable and so very disappointing. Every one of those last 3 times we came was to celebrate a special occasion. What once was a timeless classic has really taken a wrong turn.
Awesome meal, great service and a lively atmosphere!! Worth the trip!

We've been to the Blue Stone Inn several times and the 45 minute drive is always worth it! Everything is always prepared to perfection, the waitresses are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. There has not been a dish that I wasn't extremely satisfied with. You've got to try the hummingbird cake! It's delicious.

The food here was amazing. The young host was super friendly and the staff were great. The place was packed, due to their food I'm sure. The ac is broke and the staff was overwhelmed with how busy it was and the heat but they were attentive and very kind. The food and service out weighed the heat.

We are new to the area and recently started going there as we were planning on making this place a regular date night place. Well I called them days ago to see if I could reserve a specific table for my birthday, for 530. Was informed that because it was a party of four instead of six, I could not. The specific table is somewhat more private and quaint as the others. To be honest had my heart set on it but they could not guarantee it. Well not only did they lose about a $300 ticket but I will never be back. There are at least hundreds of other options, which is what we did last night. The food is not bad but it is a bit high in price and the last time we were there, I gave the server $100 bill for a $60 meal and asked if I wanted change? Are servers expecting a 50% plus tip now????
