The food here was amazing. The young host was super friendly and the staff were great. The place was packed, due to their food I'm sure. The ac is broke and the staff was overwhelmed with how busy it was and the heat but they were attentive and very kind. The food and service out weighed the heat.

We are new to the area and recently started going there as we were planning on making this place a regular date night place. Well I called them days ago to see if I could reserve a specific table for my birthday, for 530. Was informed that because it was a party of four instead of six, I could not. The specific table is somewhat more private and quaint as the others. To be honest had my heart set on it but they could not guarantee it. Well not only did they lose about a $300 ticket but I will never be back. There are at least hundreds of other options, which is what we did last night. The food is not bad but it is a bit high in price and the last time we were there, I gave the server $100 bill for a $60 meal and asked if I wanted change? Are servers expecting a 50% plus tip now????

I will start off by saying the server was exceptionally nice. Even when they were packed full, he still attended to our larger party's drinks and got the food out promptly. The food was a little more disappointing then expected, the steak was far more fatty than usual so I feel like I paid more for fat than food. The fried seafood platter had a good assortment of seafood, however the flavoring in the batter and fries that came as a side just wasnt there. The fries weren't crisp, more of a floppy mess, and as mentioned previously, had no seasoning (even salt) or much of a flavor at all really. I asked our kind server if he could put the fries back in and fortunately that made them a little more bearable. Overall I'd give this place a solid 3.8. Great atmosphere, great service, just lackluster food, hope i just caught them at a bad time

A hidden gem that all the locals know about! Great food and a fantastic menu. Seafood, steaks and more!

The BEST restaurant in Harrisonburg area! Ten minute drive north is well worth it! I’ve been going here for many years, and always looking forward to the seafood namely the trout. The steaks here rival any steak house. Get there early!

Food is delicious! Steak has good flavor and tender- Don't ask for steak sauce, you won't be needing it! :)

Service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is quaint!

Most definitely recommend Blue Stone Inn; we will be back!

We really loved the Blue Stone Inn. The wait was long but we knew that ahead of time and it was worth the wait. Our food was fantastic - I had the ribeye and my wife and the stuffed flounder. Our server was great and a fellow Jeeper so we had a nice conversation 😄 We will return when we are back in the area!

Parking: Parking lot was full. Come early or come late or prepare to wait 👍🏼

This place is incredible. Ambiance, service, prices, and quality. Everything you'd want in a quaint, roadside restaurant off the beaten path.

You've got to love a place like this. Good people serving great food in a friendly atmosphere. The first thing you'll notice other than the place has been here for a very long time, is that it smells like the food is going to be really good, and it was. Surprisingly there are a lot of seafood options from simple grilled fish to the special that I had which was rock fish imperial. Delicious. Some one in my party had a ribeye which they said was great as well. Tina and the other ladies on staff were not only very friendly but helpful. The menu is expansive. I hate when I go places and the staff seems like they've never had any of the food and therefore are not qualified to make a recommendation. As I've mentioned the place has been there a while so be ready for the Gerald Ford era decor. Sorry I didn't take photos but it's well worth the trip. I'll be back! Oh yeah... There is only beer and wine. Don't go there looking for a cocktail. Not happening.

The only thing I could complain about was that it was too dimly lit. My co-workers have a difficult time reading the menu.
Our server Tina was FABULOUS!
