Brother's Italian Restaurant is amazing! The food is always delicious and the owner and staff are so accommodating! We placed a large order for the TA girls basketball team and the owner went above and beyond for us! We are so appreciative and look forward to our next visit there :)
Came into town for a JMU game and stayed at an air bnb; searched for pizza nearby, and Brothers popped up. We were curious if it would be any good… it was AMAZING! Very fresh, just the right amount of sauce and generous toppings. We ordered an eggplant, mushroom and sausage large pizza and could not have been happier with our dinner. We planned on picking it up and are thankful we did since the small eat in dining area was packed on this Friday night.

I can’t believe I’ve lived for 10 years in Harrisonburg, and am just now discovering this place. Got pizza for my son’s birthday two weeks ago and ordered myself an old favorite—a calzone with fried eggplant and Italian sausage. I have found nowhere in Harrisonburg that does a good fried eggplant topping, until now. Put in the online order and a two minutes later I get a call to make sure that I knew all calzones come with ham by default and did I just want the eggplant and sausage or did I also want the ham as well? (I got all three, why not?)
I picked up the pizza myself and the staff were great. The woman at the counter said they made all their stuff in house. They gave me, complementary, an order of some delicious donut-like fried dough in a chocolate sauce. The atmosphere was a bit of a throwback to the very best of a 1990s mom & pop pizza place, and I mean that as a compliment. The place was clean and welcoming.
And then I got home and ate the food, and both the pizza and the calzone were excellent.The pizza was a proper thing crust pizza. Because of this experience, this week I ordered chicken parmesan catering for my wife’s 40th birthday party and it was one of the best chicken parms I’ve had. Really thin tender chicken cutlets. Great tasting sauce. (And the garlic rolls were amazing.) At this point, this is my favorite traditional-style pizza place in Harrisonburg hands-down and will be my delivery go-to for the future.

One of the best lunch spots in town and a secret gem. Highly recommend the bread made in house (garlic bread!), steak and cheese, and ziti ala vodka. Also if you like eggplant parm you are in luck!

My wife and I had lunch at Brothers Italian Restaurant in Harrisonburg, and everything was excellent. Our waiter, William, was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. My wife ordered the Tortellini Ortolana, and I had the meatball sub with fries. Her meal was delicious and it came with Italian Chili, which neither of us had ever tried. It was amazing! The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—exactly how I like them. The food was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be coming back. If you're thinking of getting Italian anywhere else in harrisonburg, Fuggedaboutit!

Best pizza in the entire Shenandoah Valley. The owner is super friendly too. Absolutely recommend checking out the restaurant if you ever find yourself in Harrisonburg, or especially if you live in Harrisonburg and haven't done so yet.
