I made a reservation and requested the standard table. Once we arrived, the hostess tried sitting us at a high top which I can't sit at. She did move us to a standard table. The tables themselves are way too small. It's hard for a 4 top to sit comfortably at your tables bc they need to be longer. Drinks were good. We ordered the smoked salmon plate for appetizers. It was not what we expected. The smoked salmon tasted okay but not smoked. The cream cheese, pickled onions and caper sauce was so small, we didn't have enough to go around. It was literally the size of a nickel. There were only 4 tiny pita chips as well. I tried the ramen special. Was told it was flavorful. It barely had any flavor in the broth. The only thing that had flavor was the two tiny pieces of pork belly. I cut into the poached egg and the yolk was ice cold. I asked the waitress if that was supposed to be like that. She said no but thought it was probably okay to eat. I told her I didn't feel safe eating it and asked to change my meal. She went to the chef and came back saying the chef advised to allow the hot broth to heat the egg. I again told her I wanted to send it back and then ordered the wings. The wings were pretty good. The price of the food was higher than the quality of food. The salmon plate that barely had anything on it was $16. Your drinks are too pricey as well. I had two cocktails that tasted good but couldn't tell it had alcohol in it And spent $24. $12 for a cocktail is ridiculous. This isn't Vegas or a Caribbean vacation. My husband had the bean burger and a few beers. We spent well over $100 for appetizer, 2 cocktails, 3 beers, 6 wings and a vegetarian black bean burger. That's a lot of money for that. I wanted to love this place.

OMG đŸ˜±. I used to really enjoy this restaurant. Key words are “Used to”. Tried their attempt at Red Curry. Ummmm it lacked in every category. No Red Curry, No sticky rice, No seasoning, and the dang chicken was grilled so the flavorless favors never incorporated. Red Curry needs to immediately be taken off the menu since it’s o onto there forte or replace the chef for serving a lackluster meal and being ok with it!!! I was so hungry entering and left the same way!

Popped by for brunch, mimosas were incredible, super affordable & unique flavor combos that were still available despite a rush!
Biscuits and gravy weren't totally southern but they were fire. Steak was done exactly how I had asked it, portions were good, server was super kind and attentive, made sure things were good and we had everything we needed. There is also seating inside so if there is a 5-10min wait you don't have to stand or find somewhere to kill time.

Food was good, but a little expensive for the amount you get.

Every time we visit our daughter in Harrisonburg, we head to Clementine's for brunch! Such a fun spot with great food and great service.

Fairly early Sunday brunch on JMU homecoming weekend, restaurant barely half full, not super busy. Took longer than expected for server to greet our table and take our order. Drinks sat at the bar for a full 5 minutes after being made and our food got to the table before the drinks did (I had to ask the server to bring them after the food was set down). Food was okay, not as great as past visits. This used to be our favorite place to eat in Harrisonburg, bummed about this recent visit.

I am a total snob about grits and pimento cheese and both were some of the best I had ever had. I was super impressed. Everything was very good. Just a couple of notes. 1. We had mentioned a birthday celebration in the invitation that was not acknowledged. The restaurant was empty so it wasn't too busy to see that note. Also, this may have been a misunderstanding between my Grandmother and the server. However, she ordered the fried chicken and requested roasted potatoes as the ONLY side. This was because she cannot eat garlic due to medication she is on and the greens came anyway, which I did try and they were very good. She just didn't really want them on the plate but she probably could have expressed that more clearly. She did definitely say potatoes ONLY though. My grandfather had the ribeye and said it was kind of tough. My daughter, who was the birthday girl had the falafal wrap and really liked it. We all shared the fried green tomatoes app and LOVED it. It was a home run hit, wish it was a little more but we could have ordered two instead of one for 4 people. I had the duck broth ramen and it was amazing. This was our second visit here, with the first being for brunch with a larger party. We enjoyed both visits and will definately be back. Further attention to details and the needs of the customers could turn this into a 5 star experience. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is lovely.

We had Sunday brunch at Clementine's after a football game weekend. They were fully booked but still able to accommodate our reservation change from ten to twelve people to include two last minute roommate additions. Clementine's is our favorite for brunch in Harrisonburg! The food and service are always excellent and we love the artsy vibe. Definitely recommend a reservation for busy weekends.

When we checked in for our reservation, the hostess said to follow her, when suddenly another employee very aggressively told her “you need to get in the kitchen RIGHT NOW!” She asked us to wait a second and headed that way. When she came back out, she told us they were no longer allowed to seat anyone for an unknown amount of time. We had to wait almost a half hour, despite empty table visible in the restaurant. The young lady said she was just “trying to avoid getting yelled at again”. When we finally were seated, it took a LONG time to get our appetizer. Our food took awhile to arrive after that. People who were seated around us were overheard to ask if they'd been forgotten it had taken so long. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary. The value was very good for what we received. Our waitress was trying to rectify things, but she seemed overwhelmed. She didn't even tell us to have a nice night when she dropped off the check. We will probably find somewhere else to go next time.

We sat outside in the patio area so that we could have our dog with us. Food and service were good.

This was the first time we dined at Clementine. We sat on the patio. It was a nice, relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious. McKenna served us and she did an outstanding job. We will definitely be back to dine again.

Had breakfast here during parents weekend and loved the food, service and especially the artwork and ambiance!

I would like to recommend this more, because we had such a wonderful breakfast there in the past, but we went for dinner and it left a bit to be desired. Our food took a long time to come out, and my husband‘s steak was very tough. The scallops were delicious, if a bit salty.
