Alma is so beautiful inside and the food is fantastic. Service was great! Cocktails were especially yummy! Make sure you order the ceviche!

As always, the fare was incredible, the atmosphere perfect, and amazing staff... Me and my partner had never experienced such a level of attentive care, respect, and overall kindness and professionalism. We felt welcomed and cared for. Love love love the food, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Read the Washington post review. Looking forward to more visits. Keep up the amazing work. I keep telling everyone I know this place is an absolute treasure of Baltimore's nascent restaurant scene.

So chill. So intimate. So nice. My kids brought me here for my birthday dinner. The food was soooo good and our server had really good recommendations. The thing that stopped me from giving it 5 stars is they have a limited menu on Sundays but that's not advertised. So there were things I wanted to try from the menu that was given, but I couldn't because they didn't have the ingredients?? They also will not give you any sauces that don't originally come on a dish, also because of ingredient availability. I want to come back during the week to see how it is.

They have so many excellent food options. The food was incredibly great, delicious, and well-prepared. They have a long selection of appetizers that are perfectly great. The place has welcoming vibe, and server recommend us some excellent food. The dessert was also top-notch. One of the best. Nice drinks! Nice customer service.

Vibes: Lots of beautiful (and real) plants. Tables are a little close to each other so waiter had to really squeeze in when addressing either our table or one next to us. Cocktails:Tried 6 different ones amongst our group, they were all good. A lot of rum options on the menu and they won't switch the liquor in it if you have an alternative preference, which is a little disappointing. Food:Latin gyoza - did not impressTostones - deliciousRed snapper ceviche - deliciousPescado frito - delicious Latino short rib - delicious Cacao 7 - so good, not too sweet Churro - goodOverall: really liked it, just keep in mind the portion sizes are quite small!

Came here for brunch with my girls. Ambiance is everything! Definitely feel transported from Baltimore to Venezuela! The owners were present when I dined in. They were pleasant. The servers were pleasant. Dishes were beautiful and tasty! Looking forward to returning.

Already raved about this on my @AmandaTheEpicure account because it might be my new favorite Baltimore restaurant!Three of us ate tapa style, sharing everything to get a bite or two of each dish. The menu changes a bit every once in a while, so not everything I'm reviewing may be availabile when you go. To be clear, we loved every dish we ordered.Butternut Squash Soup--light but decadentArepitas--incredible. Just the right ratio of each ingredientLatin Gyoza--a favorite. We got 2 orders and it was worth it, unique and a great balance of flavorsRed Snapper Cheive--so refreshing and light. Adding the sweet potato made the perfect biteJojoto & Halloumi--it was like a moist cornbread with cheese. We should have eaten it as soon as it came out because the cheese hardened as we tried other things. Even with our mistake, it was still delcious. We all ordered different drinks and enjoyed them. The interior is beautiful and the service was great! I cannot wait to go back!

We popped in here for a quick cocktail and snack while we were at the gallery around the corner. The space is absolutely gorgeous - it has an open floor plan and an entire wall of windows. I got the cocktail of the day, which came with a tree of rosemary anchored in the glass by tiny clothespins. A lot of thought was put into the presentation. And I couldn't tell you what was in it, but it was strong enough that I knocked over the glass after I'd had about half of it. We also had the Mexican street corn, which was warm and delightful. Definitely a place to stop back by when we've got more time.

I have gone to every El Charro in this town. I love this restaurant and its staff like family. They are fast as can be hoped for and the food is outstanding. I have raved several times to close friends about eating here every meal of every day if only I could afford it.

Plain out poor service. Wsitress was more worried about her break than her customer. Will not return ever.

Alma Cocina Latina is a restaurant that needs to be on everyone's 'must try list'. I was pleasantly surprised during my dining experience and look forward to dining there again VERY soon. I initially made my reservations for an anniversary dinner for my boyfriend and I two days prior to going [although securing a reservation a week prior is advised]. I must say, it was a magical evening to remember. From the time we walked into the restaurant to the time we walked out we were awestruck. Walking in-we were greeted with soft Latin music that immediately transported us melodically to a different world. Service was exceptional from start to finish. The hostess greeted us and was prompt in getting us to our seats. The pictures of the location do it no justice- you'd simply have to experience the glamour of this location. Next to the hostess podium is the official entrance to the restaurant marked by beautiful curtains- once drawn back you will get a glimpse of what is housed behind them and the true experience begins. My boyfriend and I were escorted to our seats and our hostess, having made a note that it was an anniversary dinner, (which I added to the notes section when I made the initial reservation) came back to give us complimentary champagne to celebrate. Spencer, our server was very attentive and helped us peruse the menu while including his recommendations. Appetizers came out almost as soon as we ordered them. The dumplings had an array of flavors that exploded in our mouths- the taste intensified with each bite- dancing from smokey, to savory, to delicate. It was smoky from the bacon or perhaps barbecue- presentation was amazing. Kinda tasted like a sophisticated breakfast burrito in a dumpling. Chicken is smaller the size of my palm but worth every bite! The creamy sauce underneath is delicious mimic curry, chicken creamy texture chicken was very well seasoned fish came in a spiral flaky crust white meat in the middle. Presentation was beautiful. Fish had heavy cilantro flavoring. If you don't like cilantro I wouldn't order it but if you do, it's very decadent. The desert was exceptional! Best churros I've ever had!

Went here for dinner after day at Massanutten Water Park. Seated quickly and given menus. Then nothing happened until I got up and asked when they were going to take my order. Everything went quickly after that and food was excellent.

Absolutely amazing food. The ladies running this truck are incredibly nice and the food is pretty authentic. I highly recommend the flautas for something handheld or the albondigas if you're feeling a warmer soup.

Another fabulous meal at Alma. They no longer have the pre fixe only menu on Sunday which I think is a good change because the regular menu has so many amazing options. Everything was great but favorites were the gyoza, jojoto and halloumi and the burrata salad starters and the fried fish, arroz a la marinera and pollito. The pollito is a very small portion but delicious. As always the space is beautiful and tables are spread out and not crowded. A really nice place to have a fabulous meal.

The food here was really good and the staff was very friendly. I ordered tacos and was able to try multiple types of tacos which were all delicious. I saw this truck randomly along the road while on a long trip and am happy that I stopped. Hidden gem.
