Show people grace. There was one person working when I came in and I couldn’t order ahead on the app to give a heads up that I needed 9 subs. They called other employees to try to get them in early but it didn’t work out.Thought it was annoying I got so many subs for one person, she continued to ask about the modified subs, allergies, etc. to make sure they were made right. Food service is tough and I’m appreciative they still took the order and made it right.
I love firehouse subs, but this location was absolutely horrible. I now wish I had read the other reviews beforehand. We were rudely yelled at to get out because they “weren’t ready” even though their sign said they were open. We waited because I really wanted firehouse subs, but I regret it. They didn’t have gluten free bread (even though they had a sign advertising it) so my boyfriend couldn’t eat. They were also out of most drinks and chips. When I finally got my sandwich after 30 min it had soggy cold bread. I’ve worked in service, and I know often things are out of workers control. However, the employees were beyond rude. Dirty bathroom too. I am bummed out.
Definitely miss the old owner and manager. This place has gone downhill, not a great experience this time in town. The store was dirty, tea wasn't made yet, lots of dust above the food prep station, chips were a mess and older ones where in the back not the front. Light panel was half open, chairs on tables, tvs on cartoons and dramas instead of sports. No hot sauces or desserts.
Food is good but bathroom wasn't clean, it took almost 30m to get my food when I was the only person in there for like 15min. The person at the register seemed like she wasn't having a good day. She just looked unapproachable. The sub was good tho. This is the only reason I have it 3 stars but I will not be back.
I like subs, and have tried a number of different places (subway, etc.), but love the taste of Firehouse. Price is a bit higher than I would normally pay, but based on the taste, it was worth it... Person working behind the counter acted like he wanted to be anywhere else but there, but it wasn't busy, the sub was created in a quick (enough) manner, so I can overlook that!
Tip jar taking away from fireman's fund.Dirty ceiling over food prep space.Dust dangling.Light fixture coming off.No hot sauces. No greeting. No teas had been made yet (at 1230).Drink machine dirty.Didn't rotate chip stock properly. No cookies or brownies.Ice cold Customer service, unfriendly staff, didn't seem to want to be there, no excitement No enthusiasm.Cartoons and Soap operas on the TVs I remember when there was sports on the TV.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered catering from here for an event and was told 10 minutes before I was supposed to pick it up that they were unable to do that. I had an event in 30 minutes in which I had to feed 60 people for. I had ordered the food 6 days in advance, so there was ample opportunity for them to reach out if they were unable to complete the order. It was completely unprofessional and very disappointing. Larry, the owner, spoke to me and offered no apology and a single sub as compensation. I would never rely on them for catering, especially if it’s for a larger event.
I was in last Saturday at around 2pm and it took 30 minutes to receive my 1 sandwich. I've worked food service, I get understaffed or busy, but it wasn't busy and there were 4 employees, 2 of which seemed to just stand there doing nothing. The excuse given was they were out of lettuce, but it's 2 in the afternoon, why wasn't prep done? Why did it take half an hour to get lettuce? I like these sandwiches but if I wanted to wait that long for a late lunch I'd go to a restaurant and not a fast food joint. This isn't the first time I've had incredibly slow service here, but it is the last. These sandwiches aren't worth the wait.
The sandwiches are fantastic here. Mine are always stuffed and freshly made. The people are always very nice but I HIGHLY recommend you order from the app, possibly even 30-40 minutes ahead of time. If you order from the store, you will be waiting forever. If you order from the app, you STILL might be waiting for a bit. I think the staff needs more help. Order 40 minutes early and you're USUALLY fine.
Used to be great; the food still is. But for the past 6 months, I’ve had nothing but issues. Multiple times they have double charged me and it’s so complicated just to get my money back. Tonight is the second time I’ve ordered online, my account has been charged, and I get there to find out they are closed. How are you accepting payments if you’re closed?!

My sub was amazing. The employees were very friendly. The dining area was a complete mess. The drink machine had a ton of dried soda stains, the condiment area around the tea bins, lids, and straws was filthy. Trash can was overflowing. It looked as if no one cleaned since they opened. I went in at 4:45pm. Tables and floors dirty with breadcrumbs and soda stains.

Food was amazing had a very juicy taste I highly recommend this place def will be eating here again!!!
I used to order from them and just count on it being late. Normally I'd order online, it says 'ready at 12' and I stop by at 12:10. Lately, its been even later. Short staffed I guess. Then I start getting stuff in the order I specifically asked not to be included. Some of us are allergic to things and specifically ask for them not to be included so we can actually eat the lunch! Can't get the order right. Can't get it on time.I'm going to panera down the street.
Even with just 2 employees during lunch rush, the food was still great. Just missing the sauces that used to be out.
