Found this diner while staying at Massanutten. We had a cup of soup, the tuna salad plate which had tuna, potato salad and Cole slaw over lettuce with tomatoes and cukes, and four wedges of pita bread. Very filling and good. Also, crab cake sandwich, which was huge filling the deli roll, with lettuce and tomato. Service was great. The dining area was clean and bright. We will definitely visit again.
In town for the SAT, we needed a place to grab a bite and linger for a couple hours. After looking at reviews online, we stopped at The Gallery Diner. We were greeted at the door by two employees (obviously training a new waitress, although that was not explained to us. I just assume) they seated us and introduced themselves. We didn't realize your menu changed drastically on Sundays. So disappointed not to be able to get our long time favorite, steak and cheese subs. Next time you change your Sunday menus, you would be smart to include the great old steak & cheese sub option. Please? I ended up making do with a plain waffle and my husband had a short stack and sausage, all together a bill of almost $30 with a not very generous tip.
