Nice atmosphere, music was a bit loud if you want to study there though. I tried their “espresso brownie” ($4) and was disappointed with not even a hint of espresso.

A great coffee shop! It’s located inside a hotel, and you need to park in a garage for this coffee shop, but it’s worth it.
The spinach and feta pastry was delicious, as well as the lavender matcha and the honey lavender latte.

I love grace + main. The coffee is always really good and the service is always friendly! I love sitting in there and seeing the college happen around me. It's a great place to eat, catch up with friends, or study.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a long ramp leading to the front entrance, plus it's attached to the bogel which also has a ramp.

Its part of the hotel and you can park at the hotel guest parking itself for self service. Opens early and coffee and snacks are worth the money.

This shop gets the job done, but I would not recommend. Service and atmosphere was fine, however poor parking and access. Coffee is mediocre. Tried the croissant and cinnamon roll, both tasted a day old, and the cinnamon roll was very undercooked and doughy. Was traveling through, but will try a local shop next time.

I always stay at Hotel Madison over chains. The location is walking distance to everything, the rooms are big and clean and everyone is friendly and helpful. Would like to see the restaurant open for lunch.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and comfortable clean rooms. I travel a lot and for me a comfortable be is the priority and it met my standards (which are probably a bit higher than avg)! There was a wine event going on at the hotel and I took part in the “sip and shop” so was fun to try out many local wines and see cool stuff from mostly all local artisans. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!
Rudest management ever. After booking a one night reservation I realized I would need to stay an additional night. Their website does not allow you to revise reservations. I called hotel and was forwarded to a reservations recording. I left message with reservation number and request to add second night. I never heard back and tried a few days later. Again, reservation recording message left. I tried calling front desk. I was put on hold until call dropped. When I checked in I explained my difficulty trying to revise reservation. The desk clerk who identified herself as a manager told me that I must have called a third party number. I told her I called the number on my confirmation. She then questioned my account of leaving messages and being left on hold. I asked if she was calling me a liar. She stated she had no other complaints making that affirmative. All she had to do was apologize for my bad experience. No she put blame and insult on me! I’m front of another clerk. Very unprofessional, I was so upset over how I was treated I couldn’t hardly sleep. I happily booked a different hotel for second night.
We travelled to Harrisonburg to attend the wedding of a dear family friend. The wedding was scheduled for 4:30 pm at Cross Keys Vineyards (20 minutes away). I emailed requests for an early check in, and was told that an early check in could not be guaranteed, but final determination would be given if we called the hotel the morning of our stay. I called at 10:30 on the day of check in to explain the situation and to request a 2:30 check in, and was again told to call back later (that they still could not promise a check in prior to 4 pm). We arrived at 2:15 and again requested an early check in. We were told that as of that moment, we would have to wait until 4 pm to check in (that no rooms would be available at 4 pm- although hotel check out time was at 11 am). The staff showed a complete lack of empathy and understanding for our need to shower, dress and leave the hotel by 4 pm, and told us that we were welcome to use the bathrooms adjacent to the lobby to change into our wedding outfits. We were finally allowed to check in at 3:52 pm, which meant that we ended up changing into clothing in the bathroom rather than our hotel room. I have stayed at many hotels over the years, and have never experienced such a rigid, inflexible and unpleasant check in experience. The only reason the rating is not a one star review is that we did have pleasant interactions with the check out staff and the coffee shop staff the next morning
Absolutely horrible hotel. Looks nice on the outside, but the rooms are awful. AC is not working and the walls are razor thin with people being very loud in the middle of the night. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and it’s just not an all around comfortable experience. I would recommend to find a Marriott or Hilton in the area instead.

Planned a Spring Break college tour for my kids and unfortunately a day before leaving, one came down with mild-Covid, so doing the right thing we canceled our trip. I called the hotel and was told they would waive the cancellation fee due to Covid. They have a 2-day cancellation time frame. We missed it by 1 day. Well, just received an email with an invoice for a Cancellation fee of $129. Not even a phone call? I find this rude and very unprofessional. I guess you don't mind people spreading Covid at your hotel, because with this policy that's what will happen. When we do this trip, your hotel will definitely not be on our stay list.
Bit overpriced, but then most coffee places are. It's gorgeous though, I had a hot coffee with my bf on a cold Saturday morning, there were board games and the bakery had variety. There's a labour shortage so they didn't have any breakfast options, docked a star for that. I hope they're paying their staff the median rate, it's a bad economy and everyone needs to survive. Service and food+coffee were good, might not revisit but it's a good hangout/work spot

Everything was fine. The staff was professional and helpful. The location was great and the rooms were comfortable. Parking was convenient. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Harrisonburg.
Well apointed hotel. Clean, comfortable, and good service. Spacious and excellent location.Rooms seem newly updated. Conference center is clean, spacious, and functional. Staff was helpful. Bar offering and food was spartan.
