This IHOP has really improved. Cleaner, WAY better service, food was good and served quickly. Full restaurant at 1115 AM yet spaces available for parking. IHOPs are never going to be known for their atmosphere but this one wasn't overly noisy nor tables crowded together. They worked on improving the restaurant and it shows.

I understand that it’s late on July 4th but you should never allow food to leave your restaurant looking like this. Never mind just tasting bad, this was completely inedible. Tasted like eating charcoal.
Had lunch today at Harrisonburg store. Ordered onion rings. Got French fries. Waitress said, no problem, just keep them. We started eating them and I asked for a plate to put them on. I put them on the plate and the waitress took the fries saying the cooks wanted them back when she brought my onion rings! This has never happened in my life. Is this a health food violation? What were they going to do with the fries? I found this odd. Were they going to serve them to someone else? Makes me wonder what else they are doing in that kitchen.

I arrived at I-Hop with my children. Everything was great, good food, good atmosphere. The person who served us was a very kind, polite, brunette, very good service. I recommend it 5 stars.

I visit IHOP in this area due to vacation and I always try to make it a point to stop to give us our ‘ morning fuel’ for our trip back. I spoke with the general manager, Donna, to explain what my food allergies were and how we could try to figure out something that I could have . Not only did she Help me figure it out, but she made it to assure there was no cross contamination. I cannot thank her enough for the effort that she took to guarantee that I had a good meal. Donna helped me figure out something I could eat. She went above and beyond and trying to help me. All of the staff from the minute you walk in from hostess ,and servers, were pleasant and the food was exceptional. Seasonally allowed I recommend the berry salad. I look forward to my visit next time.
