I have always like IHOp restaurants. But none is in my town. I have to travel 30 mins out. But I enjoy eating there. The omelet was well done. Not to mention the pancakes, delicious. Hint hint IHOP, my hot chocolate could be a bigger one. I loved the customer service from the entrance

I am genuinely concerned about the waitress we had at the restaurant yesterday morning. My family came in to have a bite of food before heading home from Massanutten. There were 7 of us and for some reason I was the only person to not get my food until the end of the meal for everyone else. The waitress stated she had been yelling at the cooks to get the food, but I said nothing due to the fact that I am diabetic and my sugar was dropping. When she came to the table the last time to offer my husband more coffee said I am diabetic and needed my food. At the end of the meal and after me finally getting food as everyone sat and watched me eat because they were done, my husband asked for my meal to be taken off the bill. The waitress, who claimed she was a manager, claimed I had cuss her out and that I needed to apologize to her. My husband was taken a back and explained that I never said any cuss words and barely spoke to her. She then said she had never been talk to like “that” in 23 years of waiting tables. My husband was confused and again stated that I never used a cuss word and only told her that I was diabetic. She then went on to say that she was diabetic too and there was no excuse for my behavior and demanded I apologize to her. As a counselor, I am worried that she may be having some mental health concerns. This whole experience was troubling.

I am a door dasher. I frequently come into to pick up door dashes. The reason why my review is low is because there is one African American woman there with glasses who works there who always has a bad attitude every time I come in to pick up a door dash order for a customer. She always is rude to me. I came in today and she saw it was me and just looked annoyed when she saw me and turned away for a second. I was friendly and said hello and she was still rude. I’m still a customer regardless. Because I also eat there as well. And it makes me not want to come in as a customer anymore and not recommend anyone either over just that one woman. She needs an attitude adjustment or just quit her job. She is not friendly at all. And if she’s that annoyed with giving out dash orders then someone else with a friendlier personality should handle door dash orders from now on. Just not her. 😌

As soon as we sat down, I asked the waiter about a drink and he was arrogant with his answer. While giving the food to us, he was reaching over my families heads and gave me food and the salsa spilled down my shirt. When we asked for the manager, he laughed. He was not apologetic at all, very arrogant. (I think his mother is the manager)
We came here for Veterans Day. My husband got the Veterans Day special, which was red, white, and blueberry pancakes with 2 eggs and 2 sausage links. He said it was very good. I got the pancake combo: 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon. And hash browns. All the food was good and filling! Wait staff was extremely busy and harried (it was extremely busy because of Veterans Day), but friendly enough while taking out order and efficient at bringing it out to us.

Definitely will not be back. My bill was 47.12 and they charged me $54. Our server added at 6.88 tip without telling me. Food made me sick as well and we waited 15min before someone came to get our order. I repeat definitely don’t come here at all.
