I actually have usually enjoyed the food and atmosphere here but our experience this evening has made me not want to return. It's a shame.

We ordered our toddler a kids meal of Mac and cheese and fries (basic, I know) but at $9.99 I expected something at least more than KRAFT Mac and cheese (not even prepared well) and fries with ketchup packets. For $10?!

Then we thought we'd treat ourselves after a challenging Monday so my husband ordered two margaritas for us off their margarita page. Not a single price was listed on that page and we expected it to be a normal price for a marg (somewhere between $8-12). Much to our surprise, they came out with lights in the glass and looked way fancier than we thought they'd be, but they didn't taste special. Then we got the bill. $35 for two margaritas! More than our entire dinner!

I know alcohol is expensive, but $17.50 for a basic drink and then HIDING the cost of this from the customer is unacceptable.

All of this on top of super slow service with very few tables. Our server seemed to forget about us on several occasions, taking longer for us to order our food, then making us wait for her to put our food order in and do a variety of other tasks before taking our drink orders. When we were finally finished eating, we didn't see her for probably 10 minutes just to flag her for our bill. We had our antsy toddler with us, so the lack of expedited service was glaring as we fought to keep him calm and patient.

I might be more understanding if they were slammed with customers but they had 3 servers on and I counted a total of 6 tables during our time there. As a previous server myself, this is outrageous and if a server can't keep up with two tables and rolling silver, then you should consider your customer's experience before anything else.

Excellent experience at Jalisco Mexican Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the music added a great touch, and the staff was exceptionally polite. The food was flavorful and well-prepared—truly a place worth returning to.

I had the pleasure of trying the Shrimp Chimichanga, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. The chimichanga was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, while the inside was generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned shrimp that were cooked to perfection.

The blend of flavors was incredible — a hint of garlic, a touch of spice, and a creamy cheese sauce that tied everything together beautifully.

Presentation was spot-on, and the portion size was more than satisfying. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in both quality and authenticity. If you’re a seafood lover or simply looking to try something new and delicious, I highly recommend the Shrimp Chimichanga. I’ll definitely be ordering it again!

From the moment you walk in, this restaurant transports you straight to the heart of Mexico. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with traditional music and décor that perfectly complement the culinary experience.

The food is nothing short of exceptional — every dish is packed with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The tacos al pastor were a standout: juicy, perfectly spiced, and served with homemade tortillas. I also tried the aguachile, and it was one of the best I’ve had outside of Mexico — rich, complex, and truly authentic.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always happy to explain the menu or recommend a dish. The service was fast, and the portions are generous for the price.

Whether you're already a fan of Mexican cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. You can tell they put heart and tradition into every plate. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Fabulous authentic. Rating based on two lunch services, June/July. Chip service included interesting coleslaw (very good) and salsa. Recommend going with the wooden board options on menu. Skip the deep fried chalupa/taquido. Would go again.

We have been here many times over the years and it used to be way more flavorful especially after 8pm. We came in around 3PM today and the food was bland. But we ate it all. The service and the atmosphere is awesome. Great beers and Cocktails. See my pictures I took some pictures of the rest room, never seen that before LOL

Love this place. Come every year during vacation. Food is always excellent!!! Our service was a bit odd this trip with communication but that's a small thing. Highly recommend the Ceviche. Huge and delicious.

I travel over 2 hours away just to come here. Hands down some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I recommend the seafood lovers, seafood enchilada and the new item I tried the shrimp quesadilla. Thank you for providing great food and excellent friendly service.

This is one huge restaurant! The food is always great here! The atmosphere, the decorations, the music. Of course, the staff makes it what it is. The people are always the most important thing. A great staff makes or breaks the restaurant. This restaurant has a great staff.
