Joshua Wilton House never disappoints. The drinks, the food, the service and the atmosphere is all top-notch. We always eat there when we visit our daughter at JMU. It is a tremendous place to eat. I highly recommend it.

The filet that I ordered was not medium! It was medium rare in the center and medium pink on the edges. My husband's rack of lamb was a little overdone. The sides, soup, and salad were good. Stephanie was a great attentive server!

Had dinner here for our anniversary. Our server, Stefani, was absolutely delightful, and she, with the rest of the team, provided outstanding service, very friendly and personable. Our food was plated beautifully, and tasted even better than it presented. My wife started with fried green tomatoes served with shrimp and a tasty remoulade, and her main course consisted of 6 of the best scallops my wife said she had ever tasted, prepared to perfection. I started with Wagyu meatballs in an excellent arrabiata sauce, followed by one of the tenderest and most flavorful filet mignons ever. Highly recommended for the historic surroundings , top notch service, and excellent meals.

Everything was perfect for our birthday dinner. We were delighted the moment we were greeted at the front door, until we were wished a good night and everything in between. The clam chowder was so fresh and tasty. The fish was fantastic with a lovely sauce. The wagyu meatballs melted in the mouth and the lychee sorbet was a pleasant surprise. Such a wonderful dining experience.
