We eat at the John Wayland KFC several times a week. Normally there is a female manager working who is very pleasant, friendly and shows she wants your business. Tonight 1/10/25 there was a foreigner male manager. He was very rude try his best to hurry us up with ordering and had all kinds of hand motion to go with it. The next time we come here if he is working we will walk back out. He was in such a big hurry and we were the only ones in the restaurant and drive thur was empty. Such a shame because we really enjoy eating here.

There is absolutely NO one in here now, the tables are dirty, sat down I'm a chair with 2 screws popping up from the underside, nice scratch on my upper leg now. Food was cold and heaven forbid they give me 2 packs of ranch!!! BahHumbug!!

will not be returning I went thru the drive thru because you would think they would be faster in the drive thru it’s always the same guy on drive thru I went last month and he charged me for a coupon book that I can’t even use not only that he never wants to give you the receipt because he knows it’s wrong, I let it go and thought I would give them another change I ordered something on the menu just one thing for 8.99 he said 2nd window without asking me what drink I would want charges me for that and I’m guessing a coupon book that I clearly did not ask for but this time he didn’t give me the book or the receipt I ended up paying 14.46 for god knows what the prices there is not what you will pay everyone in the drive thru was send to wait by the door so what was the point at least 6 people were waiting and they took so long that we all went inside.

Super shady business practices. An older guy hand me a coupon book when I hand him my card to pay at the takeout window and then I see on my receipt. He charged me a dollar for it. It’s not the money or the donation that’s an issue. It’s the fact that they charge without telling you.

Edit: forgot to mention that he tried to hide this by not giving me my receipt. I had to ask for it three times and he tried to wave me off before he finally gave me the receipt.

Unsinkable Tales

I ordered a 5 piece extra crispy chicken online. They told me they were out and only had original so I said that was fine. I received 3 pieces. I called and the manager tells me they don't sell 5 piece and hangs up on me. I have my receipt that very clearly says 5 piece chicken. It's an online only special. Happy to share the receipt. The manager apparently doesn't even know what they're selling. I'd like a refund.

Oh and the girl asked if I had silverware in my bag at the window and I said no and she said "okay good you didn't order any" and they tried charging me for plastic silverware. Worst KFC ever.

The staff in this restaurant seems fairly friendly, the dining room is dirty and dated. Dust on the tops of the low hanging lamp shades. Stagnant water sitting in the bottom of the drink machine the icemaker has black mold growing on it as well as the backsplash for the soda dispensers. The drain under the drink machine appears to have mold on it as well and a puddle of water sitting in the floor by it. Meal was ok warm at best. The tea was rancid and disgusting. The person preparing my order, grabbed all of my food items and put them in a bag then left it sitting on the prep line (not in a heated area). Then they headed to the back and put the fries into the fryer. Once they were done rather than grabbing them and completing my order, the same associate goes and puts biscuits into the oven, then walks to the back to retrieve the fries. Just seems there is a lack of sense of urgency and manor cleanliness issues in this location. I was the only person in the dining room when I ordered and 2 cars in the drive thru. Took over 10 minutes to get mashed potatoes, fries, & 2 biscuits.

I've ordered here twice and when I got home my order was not correct. Ordered a chicken tenders meal and the tenders were burned black. Recommend you check your order before leaving the store. The quality is unacceptable for the price you pay!I won't go back.

BEWARE: DECEPTIVE PRICING !!!When going through the drive through, they hand you a coupon book and simply say “$1 coupon book.” They don’t give you a receipt because they are charging you for that coupon book but make it seem like they are just giving you coupons. Very shady. This happened to me twice before I caught on to it on the 3rd visit and asked for a receipt.
