Lola’s Delicatessen

It wasn't open when it said it would be Friday, January 3rd. I drove 36 miles round trip to try out their Pastrami sandwich for lunch there with my new GF.
2nd response: Liar, liar, pants on fire my girlfriend and me went to the door, trued opening it, finding it locked with a sign saying "Closed".

We waited a while to be acknowledged. A friendly nod and smile would have helped.

Asked the cashier what he recommended between two sandwiches and he pointed me towards the P.L.U.T.O. Excellent choice. Sandwich was delicious and I didn’t even eat it fresh. Smoked pastrami was ? He also suggested that I add horseradish sauce… ?? lol. Great job y’all

I am a NYC native and enjoyed some great delis until I left there 30 years ago. Lola's is great local deli. I am a barber in Downtown Harrisonburg and I am pleased to point my passing through customers to Lola's who are for a nice place enjoy lunch with their significant other. Two thumbs guys.

small place - EXCELLENT sandwiches. I got the house made pastrami - delicious, not fatty with great flavors. My wife got here usual turkey which she thoroughly enjoyed. The address says Main St. but the location is on a side street. It's worth looking for it.

Stopped by here on a visit to the Discovery Museum right across the street. We found a cute little deli. I had the Broyal with Cheese. So good! The bread was fresh and the meat and cheese were excellent. I highly recommend this place. My wife had the Rachel and she loved it. My son had a grilled cheese sandwich and it was really good. My in-laws also said they loved their sandwiches as well. The deli has a very welcoming and inclusive environment. I also loved that they had a CD, DVD, & Blu-ray take one leave one shelf. In a world of streaming this little nugget was very nice to see. This place is a gem!

My wife birthday, she wanted to try something different. Seen the reviews and most of it good ??. We give it a try. The food was delicious ?. Alittle pricy but it's my wife birthday and she didn't mind. Try the red slaw it's very good ??.

My kids and I were checking out the children's museum next door when we decided that we were hungry. Lola's is a super convenient location. We went in, myself with 3 kids, not knowing what to expect. The man that took our order was incredibly friendly and helpful. My kids all got the kids grilled cheese and I got the La. Probably the best sandwich I've had in a long time. We really were lucky to stumble upon this gem. We will be back!

I’ve eaten here for about a year on and off. The first sandwich I got made me think I had never had tastebuds until that day. A delicious combination of flavors that was unmatched but any sandwich shop I’ve tried. I thought no way they replicate that every time. But without fail no matter what this places delivers some of the best food I’ve ever had. It’s delicious, made with love and served with a smile. All of the employees do a fantastic job with service and cooking. An absolute must try if in Harrisonburg. ????
