Great atmosphere, awesome brunch. The green poutine was delicious; the herb sauce was absolutely crazy. Matcha latte was wonderful as well. Will def come back again next time I’m in the area!

My wife had the French toast which she loved!
Side of sausage patty kind of fatty (she didn’t finish).
My meal;
Scrambled eggs and cheese tasted farm fresh.
Bacon was perfection. Toast and potatoes yummy too.
The coffee was flavorful and hot.
Would come again for sure!
Service was a 10!

One of my favorite spots in Harrisonburg. I'm a regular and eat here probably 2-3+ times per week. All of the servers are sweet, and I've never been disappointed by a food item at Magpie. The espresso drinks and baked goods are also quite good. Try their lunch menu Tues-Thurs for exclusive treats that you can't get for weekend brunch!

Magpie did not disappoint. My salad was flavorful and new and so was my Muelle’s Apple Cider. The only ones who were not too happy were my pumpkin waffle orderers. The dollop of creme tasted too squashy and less sweet. Otherwise, excellent and a real treat over all for everyone.

Best breakfast in harrisonburg!

Good breakfast but not quite ideal. Cranberry ham biscuit sandwich was good but cranberry flavor overpowered all other flavors. Biscuit was cooked to perfection. The frittata was ok but tasted like it was not freshly made. Coffee and service were good We also purchased pastries and bread; pastries were good. Bread was over baked (see photo of bottom of bread) and burnt was the main flavor on the loaf we got. Overall a great concept but I felt the place missed on the details. Next time I’ll check the bread more carefully.

Mid at best been twice, the French toast tasted like and old fashioned doughnut from Dunkin, daughter hot the biscuit special twice and hated it twice.

I had never been here before, but so glad to be introduced to this lovely little gem! A friend and I met at around 11:30, but we both got breakfast. I had the fritata. It came with an arugula salad and was very tasty! We also had the blackberry cream pie, which was amazing! The server was on top of things, and though busy, he was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is busy and loud, but we were still able to have a conversation. Overall, I loved the diner vibe

Loved all of it. Food is excellent and, according to the locals, the menu changes frequently but the staples (eggs, bacon) remain. Prepare to wait in line though. We got there when Magpie opened at 9:00 am, so the line moved fast. We'd return the next time we're in Harrisonburg!

Absolutely AMAZING meal!! My food was very flavorful and EASILY well worth the price!! They were also very quick with the service too! I see why this place is so busy!! And the atmosphere is very comfy!! Not too noisy, and not to awkwardly quiet!! The staff was so sweet too! I will definitely be coming back during my stay!!

We had to wait but it was so worth it!! The food was amazing. I had the yogurt with fruit and granola. My husband had potatoes with sausage gravy and an egg on top. It was to die for!!
