We will definitely be back. The in-house smoked brisket is fantastic, the house made bbq sauces are delicious, fries with cheese and bacon? Yes, please! Oh, and the skillet cookie was HUGE and delicious. Our server was courteous, knowledgeable, and managed every table assigned to her with the kind of ease, grace, and confidence that only comes with YEARS of experience. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is the building. It's shabby and in desperate need...
This is a great college town grill, food was awesome, prices were fantastic, the service was all top tier, there wasn't anything to complain about. Their sandwiches and BBQ were all very solid options for the price, and the skillet cookie for dessert was a great way to end the meal. Would absolutely come here again
We had a great lunch while visiting JMU. The appetizers & burgers were excellent. Our waiter, who was also a stuent, was so friendly and gave us some great info about the campus.
