Great beers, great prices, bartender was super nice, and the vibes were nice (a little quieter, perfect for a smaller group)

Chillest place in town. Great atmosphere and often great music. Best people ever.

Didn’t get any pictures cause I can’t reveal my google review identity to my new friend. Loved this place tho. Super cute outdoor seating with lights and live band on Fridays

Another great brewery/taproom in Harrisonburg. Restless Moons was recommended to me by a bartender at The Friendly Fermenter, and that was absolutely spot on. Nice selection of beers; if you stand at the bar, you also get a great view of their brewing kettles.
Friendly staff, nice beer garden out back. No pub food sold, but a patron told me that it might be possible to bring one's own snacks (have not confirmed this with staff though). Monday night is Movie Night IIRC. Would definitely return if I had the chance.

Just recently moved back into the area and found this brew pub Co so had to stop in. Very cool atmosphere, nice bar keep and great beer. It’s a 5 star for me

This is what a brewpub should be like - totally funky but laid back vibe, great beers (a nice variety of styles), friendly and amusing staff. The look and feel (and smell) of the place really took me back to the 1990s. It's a few blocks away from the downtown Harrisonburg brewery and restaurant- heavy area, but there is free parking across Liberty in a municipal parking lot. Not sure if they have food options besides chips, etc. Perhaps a food truck stops by occasionally but when I visit a brewery, I veer towards the beer alone. And Restless Moons checks all boxes.

This place has the best house brewed sours ever. Witch Doctor is back and i highly recommend if you like fruity, citrusy sours you come down and try it before it's gone from the rotation!
Great staff, great vibes, local artists. Possibly the best bar in the burg.

Really great space. Loved their hazy pale and Persimmons cream Ale a whole lot! Back Biergarten outside was so comfortable and had a great vibe. They even have some pinball and Mario Cart to goof around on inside their cool old brick building.

We were very pleased that we made it a point to stop at this little gem during our visit. We got three flights to sample all 12 beers available on tap. Everything was clean tasting and unique, EVERY one stood on it's own. Clear favorites (that we ordered pints of after our samples) were the Tacosaurus Rex (and yes it really tastes like a corn tortilla taco) Dances with W.O.L.F. (citrus and lavender), All that Glitters, and Dav the Viking.

UPDATE 2024

We have made it a point to continue to visit this brewery every year when we vacation in VA and it has never disappointed. Consistently unique flavor offerings that shine with a crisp clean quality we have found lacking in several other local breweries. In 2024 some stand out favorites were another collab with the local lavender farm, and a spicy pineapple that I was not expecting to enjoy but very much did.

Best beers in town, hands down! Consistently brewing up some dank flavors, and typically a wide variety from IPAs, stouts, porters, sours, Ales, Lagers, and other seasonal brews. Best outdoor drinking vibes, with live music often, and good games to play!
