This was my attempt to give Sakura another try after a fairly bad visit a while back. This was OK, but still a drop down from what we had previously experienced. In the past we had always enjoyed the food here. It may not have been fine dining, but it was well-prepared and tasty. Last round was pretty poor; this round, definitely below average. My teriyaki chicken tasted like it had sat for a while. The texture was tough, and the taste was like it was leftover from the previous day, slightly off. I'm sure that teriyaki chicken s a big seller, and I'm tempted to wonder if tey make it in huge batches that sell over a long period...but I was there just before lunch, and I would think that if they were going to make a fresh batch of something, that would be the time. Nothing was inedible, but there was nothing here to make me want to return again.

The teriyaki ain't got no sauce on it, it's literally just soy and sugar. Y'all really tryna save pennies. If you enjoy this food I'm gonna assume you're elderly and have had your taste buds striped away.

The food was great. Our server didn’t take our order correctly. She herself was very slow. I received my food before my husband which normally isn’t an issue but we waited for another 13 minutes before his food was brought to the table. They should try to time things out better because when people go out to eat they want to eat with the person/people they came with not wait another 13 minutes for everyone to get food.

This place is SO good! The food is high quality and delicious and the servings are huge. You cannot beat the prices either. Ever since I tried it it’s been my favorite restaurant in Harrisonburg. The staff are very kind and attentive. They can accommodate dietary restrictions for many dishes. I’ve brought several family members here now and everyone has been super impressed. Some even want to travel from out of town to go again. Highly recommend!

OMG everything was very good and food came out quick. In all honesty I didn't even have to add any soy and yum yum BUT I'm a hard sauce person so I did 😋. Aaaaaaand we weren't even there 10 min and had our whole order, I will definitely come again, they were awesome.
