This place is fantastic! I had the curry puffs and crispy tofu for appetizers (which alone would have made this meal amazing)For entrees I had the duck curry, and also tried the fried rice. Both of these were some of the best versions of these dishes I've ever had! It's easy for curries and fried rice dishes to become heavy with oil, but neither of these were. The curry was flavorful and creamy, and the rice was light and fluffy.Lastly, the mango sticky rice was the perfect way to end the meal. Again, it's easy for this dish to make you feel bloated (especially when you just had so much of the delicious entree) but this just felt refreshing and delicious.I'm not sure what your plans were for dinner tonight, but you should absolutely consider Siang Khene!

I just found another awesome family owned business in Harrisonburg! Siang Khene has the best Thai food in town! The owner’s son Brandon took great care of me while I ate their delicious Duck special. Joshua Wilton’s duck was pretty good, but Siang Khene’s duck easily out quacks it lol. I am looking forward to coming back to try their lamb soon. I am still in duck heaven so going to take a nap…

We wish this restaurant was in our town because we'd eat here at least once a week. Coming from out of town I was not expecting to find such an amazing Thai restaurant in the mountains of VA. 5 stars!

A hidden gem ? I’ve only ever tried the Pad See Ew because it’s just too good. The staff is always really kind and interested in making conversation, which I really appreciate. They seem to care about more than just business. Great place! 10/10 recommend.
My wife and I have been going to restaurants everywhere for about twenty-five years and Siang Khene is the first one she wanted to go to a second time within the same week. The food here is that good. On the first night we tried their Laotian noodles and their catfish, and both were 'melt in your mouth' great. The second night we tried their lemongrass and port sausage, which was uniquely interesting, and the two duck dishes on the menu. Both fantastic. I only wish our stay in Harrisonburg was longer and we'd go a third time.

Excellent food and excellent service. We ordered basil fried rice and pinang curry both with Tofu and veggies. The food was perfectly cooked and tasted just amazing and flavorful. Would definitely recommend this place. It's very hard to get a 5 star review from me.... :)

Excellent food. Please try the beef jerky appetizer, it's amazing. The waiters are very freindly people. The bathrooms are clean. There's no detail they've missed. You will have a very pleasant time here.
