We were visiting Harrisonburg for a few days and went here for Thai. It was so good we came back to try the Laotian side. Also so good. The red curry was great and the handmade udon style noodle soup is delicious too. If we lived here we'd come here all the time.

This place is fantastic! I had the curry puffs and crispy tofu for appetizers (which alone would have made this meal amazing)For entrees I had the duck curry, and also tried the fried rice. Both of these were some of the best versions of these dishes I've ever had! It's easy for curries and fried rice dishes to become heavy with oil, but neither of these were. The curry was flavorful and creamy, and the rice was light and fluffy.Lastly, the mango sticky rice was the perfect way to end the meal. Again, it's easy for this dish to make you feel bloated (especially when you just had so much of the delicious entree) but this just felt refreshing and delicious.I'm not sure what your plans were for dinner tonight, but you should absolutely consider Siang Khene!

Service was amazing and everything was fresh and delicious! Siang Khene is a precious gem tucked away in the valley. The whole family is full, happy, and so thankful!

DELICIOUS! We always get the same thing from Thai places and neither of us were familiar with Laotian cuisine; so we decided to try something different and were SO glad we did! We got the Mok w/catfish (new for us), yellow curry w/chicken, crispy wings w/tamarind sauce. I like how the spice level is honest and the curry didn't taste like sugar. Nice customer service. Highly recommended and we'll be back!

We were on a road trip and wanted something we couldn't get at home. We ordered Lao Beef Jerky, Mee Kathi, Khao Piak Sen, and Red Curry. We had never had Laos food before. To d*** it down my Mee Kathi was like Pad Thai in a curry broth. It was great.

Honestly,One of the best Asian restaurants I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to many. I highly recommend the pho and Mok w catfish

This was our first time here today. Delicious pad Thai. The Penang Curry was also good.

Disappointed with the fried rice. Maybe just picked one of their off dishes. Most of the pictures show yummy dishes with good ratings. This dish didn't look very appetizing and the taste fell flat.

Before I ordered , I asked waiter what is the most popular one? He told me the crispy chicken. Then the crispy chicken was too tough. Felt like over fried. The soup was delicious.

I just found another awesome family owned business in Harrisonburg! Siang Khene has the best Thai food in town! The owner’s son Brandon took great care of me while I ate their delicious Duck special. Joshua Wilton’s duck was pretty good, but Siang Khene’s duck easily out quacks it lol. I am looking forward to coming back to try their lamb soon. I am still in duck heaven so going to take a nap…

Delicious pad thai (pork) curry pastries and thai peanut chicken. Quiet and low frills inside with amazing eats!

This place is just outstanding. As Guy Fieri says " Shut the front door". We had chicken satay as an appetizer, mee kathi (red curry), laab(pork in a lettuce wrap with sticky rice). If you like Southeast Asian food our meal was really really good. Absolutely give this place a try!!

If you are thinking about going here, do it! The food is fresh, quick, friendly service, affordable AND they have a sister restaurant in DC, Thip Khao. We wish this restaurant was in our town because we'd eat here at least once a week. Coming from out of town I was not expecting to find such an amazing Thai restaurant in the mountains of VA. 5 stars!
