Everything was delicious! It was our first time here. I was very tired and didn't want to do anything except go home and sleep when i got off work, but I NEEDED to go to Walmart to pick up a few things and wasnt want to make dinner either. After too many bad experiences with kfc and not wanting to drive anywhere else, I decided to give you all a try. (I normally don't like seafood. Otherwise, I would have tried you all much sooner. )I put in an online order for takeout, and everything was ready when I arrived. It was accurate ( which seems to unfortunately be rare these days) and everything was still warm and delicious by the time I got home ( approximately 15-20 minutes).Although I feel it is a bit pricey for the portion, I will definitely order from you all again!
First time ever seen a place like this and this well that was an awesome experience I wished Connecticut have them but here the food was excellent and the customer service was excellent. Going back today with my extended family also for early supper
I mean the food was Skrimp shack worthy for sure. Also the sandwich was loaded with spicy sauce which doesn't hurt because at the local skrimp shack I always have to order an extra cup of sauce. As a result of the response below I double checked my information. I modified my review. I realized I made a mistake. There was no upcharge for crab it's just seems like the cost of food at Skrimp shack has gone way up since the last time I ate there. But that's everywhere right. The cost of everything is ridiculous right nowAround $18 for a po boy and a sweet tea.So because the food was good and because the staff was friendly I raised my rating to five stars.
Omg this food is the best seafood we have tasted. We need one in Asheville asap! The service was nice to be just a small business. The owner was friendly and courteous to us and welcoming to us. Taste the crab po boy and fish sandwich for sure!
Best fish sandwich in the state. Whenever I travel near Harrisonburg I have lunch at the Skrimp Shack. Always good.
Lunch special is $8.70Fish or Chicken sandwich, fries and drink.I liked it ?
First time was delicious been back several times in 3wks and always just as good as first time... fresh and hot everytime. Biggest fish sandwich ever!! Must try
Wow! First time here, ordered a grilled shrimp and crab po boy. The bread is excellent, there's real crab and little shrimps in a sauce of your choice. So, so good. Breast po boy I've ever had, including those I've had in Louisiana. Kudos to the management on what looks to be a great addition to our local cuisine!
First time eating here and got the shrimp Po boy with spicy sauce. This sandwich is the amazing great job! I know where my new favorite spot in the burg is.
I just ate at Skrimp Shack in Harrisonburg for the first time- all I can say is Awesome! I don’t usually write reviews but that was a meal I won’t soon forget! Everything was cooked to perfection- from the catfish, the “skrimp” and even the fries. All were hot and fresh, the catfish was flavorful and tender, and the shrimp were amazing. The owner also made sure I had everything I needed for my to go order- cocktail sauce, tartar and ketchup. Even the bun was fresh and warm! It was massive portions and I couldn’t eat all of it. Highly recommended!

You don't heat your toco shell on grill it's doughyAnd corn meal is not good on scrimp.and old oil taste..why over priced
Good taste good, service was excellent. but I felt I paid too much. 22$ for Mahi & Mac & cheese n a small drink.
I use to patronize this restaurant regularly but stopped coming because of bad service, order was always messed up or tasted as if was cooked in dirty oil and it sounded like we were at a rap concert when we walked in the door.My daughter had softball practice Friday evening and we wanted to grab dinner out since we had all had a long day. My wife said she was craving fish and had heard from ladies at work that Skrimp Shack had improved and we should try it. Against my wishes, we did. And for once my wife was correct (?) What a difference it was in an all around experience. Young lady who took our order explained the menu because it had changed since we last came. She was very sweet. A young guy brought our food out and was also very nice. The food was great! I got the Mahi, wife got the haddock and my daughter got chicken tenders. Manager walked to every table and asked if everything was okay. I told her how impressed I was with the changes that’s been made when she stopped at our table. I’m so glad I gave this place another chance. And we will be regulars again. Restaurant and restrooms were clean.. Employees were great! All around 5 stars. We also loved seeing that you all are selling little league cards. I went in again today and got a PoBoy to go. Received same great service and great food .
Loved the food and will definitely come back whenever I'm in the area. Had an awesome conversation with Marla ( the owner). She left my wife and I in awe with her story of owning this establishment.
