The food and service are amazing!! It can be hard to get a seat sometimes (this location is small), but that is just a testament to how popular they are around here.

Wow. This Athena Gyro blew my taste buds out of the water! Flavor on flavor. The tzatziki was on point, the takeout service time was FAST, and I will definitely be back for more!

I regularly travel between NJ and NC, and stop overnight near Harrisonburg VA, roughly halfway. On one such stop, I discovered Xenia, and now eat here every time I’m in the area. Amazing food, truly delicious! Friendly service. Low prices. I’m a vegetarian, and happily make a meal of their hummus,

The food here is delicious and everyone is so friendly! The portions are very generous and we have never been disappointed. Everything is at a reasonable price and it is 5 minutes from our house. Best place in Harrisonburg!

Food was excellent. Ordered the chicken kabobs with rice. Great buy. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

This place is my go to place for date night and comfort food. I love the Athena gyro and the kebabs. The food is always fresh and delicious. Support local business!

The food here is so good and the service was amazing. Our order ended up taking a bit longer than other tables, but we were content with the delicious appetizers. The manager ended up coming out with a free order of hummus to apologize and was super sweet to us. Highly recommend this place!

Trip advisor said it was open but locked up tight. Was anxious to try. Website domain was deactivated so if you are thinking of going here I would call first! Maybe closed permanently???

Says open walked up at 12:45 doors locked. if you're closed then say so!! I specifically went here for lunch after 180 miles drive from Richmond!!

I would never go back here again! DO NOT EAT HERE!! I order the Chicken Kabob meal over rice. I was so excited to bring it home & eat it, as it has been awhile since I have enjoyed this luscious juicy meal. I got home & the chicken was so dry it was inedible. I called & reluctantly they said they would remake it. I arrived back with my meal intact & the woman owner gave me a huge attitude. She asked me what was wrong & I told her it was overcooked & she should try it. Which she responded she was a vegan. Serving lamb & chicken as thhe mainstaples at your restaurant you should open a vegan restaurant. She then said I should declare how I want my chicken cooked - well, medium rare etc? Never in my life I was told asked this only with Tuna, Salmon, Burgers, Steak, etc. RUDE, crappy food & a dingy place. Buying your chicken skewers, sauces etc would be much better at Costco. As a woman business owner shame on her. I came home & three out remade dish.

Literal hole in the wall, one of very few Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurants in the area. Probably scares the local F150 enthusiast crowd away, but that only adds to the quaint ambience of the restaurant.

Delicious! Stopped here on our way to Blacksburg for lunch. I had the Mediterranean salad with the chicken kebab. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. Nice salad. Had the hummus appetizer. Tasty garlic pita. Will definitely come back.

I've been obsessed with this place since I was a student at JMU. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon while driving down 81 and had to stop here. It is still fantastic and I would say they have the best gyros in town. Today I got the spicy Athena gyro with feta cheese and it was awesome. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive. My only reservation is that they need to fix the door! It's freezing in there during the winter and it's been like that since I graduated a few years ago.

A&A Kebab is twice as far from my house as Xenia, but I go to A&A for the flavor. Ate at Xenia once; A&A countless times.
