So good. I grew up in Chicago within an immigrant family, eating a ton of diverse, delicious food and this place is so good. The veggies were super fresh, the rice was delicious, the lamb kebab was amazing. Definitely a gem in Harrisonburg!

We found a piece of chewed gum in the naan bread. It was pretty vile. We were visiting the town and were excited about the food after reading the good reviews. Discovering the chewed gum when we almost finished the meal was purely repulsive. I hope the worker who’s done this didn’t do other disgusting things with our food…

This place has amazing reviews, so I’m sure I just had a bad experience and that the restaurant is normally great. I stopped by at 8:40 pm, which was 20 mins before the restaurant closed so this could’ve ultimately been my fault for choosing to get takeout 20 mins before closing time. I got a lamb kabob which was one of the worst cuts of lamb I’ve ever had. The meat smelled bad, had pieces of chicken thrown in my dish, even though I ordered lamb, and also, there were random pieces of noodles that came with my rice. This was clearly a last minute attempt to serve a meal, which again, I take responsibility for, but restaurants know customers walk in 20-30 mins before close especially since it’s a Saturday night. I would have not chosen this location if we were dining in as it would be rude to the staff, but I didn’t think takeout would be an issue. The chickpeas I got were also bad. They were soup like which I am used to but the soup part tasted like straight dirty water. Anyway, I recommend not going to this restaurant even a hour before closing. Very disappointed with my experience. The reason that I wanted to give two stars instead of one was because the staff was kind.

I ordered the ultimate veggie with a side or fries. everything had such robust flavors and was extremely fresh. The fries were super crispy and the falafel was absolutely delicious. The portion side was huge, and the service was very quick. My siblings went to JMU and it's been more than five years since they've graduated; they still reminisce about eating here. Highly recommend!!! So yummy!

This is a family run Mediterranean restaurant, serving authentic cuisine. It is a small restaurant, but one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at recently. The flavors were absolutely beautiful! The lamb, especially, was the best we’d ever had, and the lentil soup was excellent. They took excellent care of us, and were extremely welcoming and friendly. When we were leaving, I was able to speak to one of the chefs about the seasonings for the lentils. He took time to tell me the seasonings and the cooking method, which I thought was very kind. I wish we lived closer so that we can go there for dinner often! But we will definitely stop by next time we are in town.
Everyone was very nice and the food was amazing! We also got hummus, which was gone so fast I didn't get a picture. Best hummus I've ever had, and it was served up with a ton of yummy bread! Absolutely delicious food. Don't miss this place!
