Stopped in to get gas; found amazing soul food and even better service. Yam’S Country Kitchen is an amazing hole in the wall restaurant with friendly staff. I had no idea what to get because of their large menu, but I left with a plate of delicious catfish nuggets, mac and cheese, and deviled eggs. Stop at the Liberty gas station for wine. I was hungry low & behold. This hidden little flavorful, savory & appetizing spot. Mac & Cheese is delectable & comforting. Catfish nuggets are made to satisfy every taste bud on your tongue. Wish they had seating, lol. See you all soon.

The oxtail, mac & cheese, and french fries were incredible. The owners are super kind and take great care of you. It's easy to overlook this place given it's location, but it's definitely a hidden gem. Be sure to give this place a try!
