We were driving back home from a Sunday wander and found Francos in a quiet strip mall. (We had spotted the Subway first, but I'm about trying local places. )The place is smallish, very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is super friendly. Typical pizza place/Italian sandwich shop. We were happy to see pizza by the slice. I had a slice and a small salad, very fresh veggies. Hubs had 2 slices and said it satisfied his New York boy cravings.

A small, relatively new pizza place with pretty much a full menu. Delightful service by a mother and son team at lunch when we visited. We had pepperoni pizza that was the best of all the ones we’ve had in the Gloucester area, and a meatball sub that was scrumptious. Excellent price, impeccably clean and neat under the attentive team. Strongly recommended!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the parking area, with ramp.

I preordered Franco’s 2 large cheese pizza special (add pepperoni to the second pizza) on the Slice app for my kid’s birthday party on Saturday and they were a huge hit! They were so phenomenally delicious that I didn’t have any pizza left after the party was over. We had some folks from another town come for the party and I told everyone Franco’s was the best in town and Franco’s definitely didn’t disappoint! They’re always fantastic! Their Stromboli’s are big enough for two days worth of food for a small family, and always so delicious (the Franco’s Special Stromboli is my personal favorite). Their Panino is inexpensive and absolutely delightful. So if you have a birthday party or any event and thinking pizza, you gotta get it from Franco’s!

Not only is it the best pizza in town, I found my new hot wing place. They were just the way I liked them, swimming in hot sauce. The sauce tasted great also. My kids loved it also. We had a regular pepperoni and a Philly cheese steak pizza. Both were great. My daughter had the idea to dip the cheese steak pizza in the hot sauce from the hot wings and it was awesome! We'll definitely be back!

I was in Gloucester for the weekend and decided to give them a try as we were feeding a lot of people. 3 large pizzas and a chicken strip basket later and we were hooked. Some of the best pizza I've eaten. Will definitely get it again, even if I just bring it back to Roanoke. And yes.
