Fiddler’s Restaurant

Buffet has a few good options, but service has been very slow every time I’ve been.

Terri was the best waitress ever! She managed our entire side of the dining room of kids on a bus tour, with ease, a smile and a positive attitude. Give that gal a raise! Drinks and pancakes were flowing with no wait, no easy task with our 160 people coming in all at once to this establishment. I'd like to thank all the staff who fed and served us today! Went in for breakfast. Food on breakfast bar was cold. Convience fee for using credit card was already added to bill. They say they accept American Express, but their credit card machine can’t process it.

A so so experience. People are polite and friendly, but the service was slow and the foodeven slower. Adequate wait staff and lavish in the evening, so not sure why. Grilled sandwich was not warm. Fries, okay. My husband's salad with chicken was good he said.

Stopped here while on a north to south trip for our lunch. Waited long times for a server, who seemed annoyed with our requests, and seemed even more hostile when we had asked the hosts for a sauce not on our table because she hadn’t brought it yet. Even when we got the sauce, it was too minimal, barely covering the bottom of the cup. I had to ask for more and she seemed annoyed with it. We were all kind and courteous and she gave rude comebacks and expressions. Food was decent, but they forgot another person’s “no tomato” request. Not only this, it took an excessively long time to just get water when there were barely any other customers in the restaurant.

one of the worst places to eat in hillsville manger is not mangament matieral an shoul be a dish washer or bathroom cleaner thay do have some good empolyes but she sure aint been eaten there over 35 yrs even when was shonyes she was there then an worthless then an still is never have food on buffet never then expect top price for meal

Just passing through and stopped for dinner, I ordered a fried shrimp basket. The shrimp was about the size of my pinky fingernail, breaded with flour. The flour was white even after frying. It was way undercooked as far as the breading, but shrimp was way overcooked, hard and un-eatable!
They should truly be ashamed of taking money from folks for this garbage. $16.99 for absolute GARBAGE plus a $3 upcharge for mediocre onion rings! Server was nice and friendly.

Just left the restaurant. Did not eat at the buffet since very little looked appetizing. I ordered a grilled chicken breast with a baked potato with the works. The potato was great. However, the chicken breast was flat, dry and barely warm. It was inedible. I was served a second one that was moist and warm, but not cooked all the way through. They definitely don't know how to grill chicken.

The food was terrible. Travel alot and this was the worst buffet ever!! If I could I wouldn't even have gave it one star. The food was old, cold and dried out. It was twice we tried Fiddler's (two different locations) and it was the same. They will never see us at one of them again.

The food was delicious! We had the buffet twice this week and if you love home cooking this is the place for you! The waiter was so friendly! He brought me whipped cream for my cobbler.
