Fiddler’s Restaurant

The food & service are excellent HOWEVER, the music is annoying & too loud. We had a large group recently. We had to yell across the table to be heard over the annoying music. This is a huge problem both inside & on the outdoor patio. We have complained every time we eat there & are told " there is no way to turn it down" It seems as if the volume has been turned up recently. Enjoyable music is in the ear of the beholder; not everyone appreciates the same genre of music. Unless we learn the music has been turned down 🙂 or turned off😁 we will not be back.

I'm rating the service. The food was decent. But RYLEIGH was the best waitress service I've had in years. Blew my mind, very attentive, nonchalant and polite. Been to many upscale restaurants for the food, but service sucked. This girl is destined for greatness. I thought I was in some twilight zone. To me service supercedes food, and she did it. Was passing thru, but if I ever get a chance I'm stopping again.

We made our first visit to Fiddlers but it won't be our last. The food and service were excellent. We had the bar and the salad fixings were fresh and crisp and the buffet was delicious. All for a very fair price. If you've not been, I highly recommend that you go.

Food is very good! The only thing was the ice cream machine was not clean. No tolit paper in the handicapped bathroom. I told them when I came out. I used paper towels and put them in the trash can.

So we went in about 8pm on Sunday. There were workers running around but still had to wait a few minutes for a table. Or for anyone to acknowledge us. 6 people in our group. We ordered and the server was great but clearly the kitchen has issues. We waited at least 40 minutes for food. It was clear it had all been sitting for a while. Lukewarm. Butter wouldn't even melt on the baked potatoes. I would pass if there are other options.

Sad that the atmosphere was better than the food or service. The buffet was empty on most everything, when you asked about the food they say it will be right out…. 45 minutes there’s no mashed potatoes, macaroni cheese or fried chicken. They did bring out fried fish and bbq but it was cold…$18.00 for salad and green beans

I was excited to try this place out. We were traveling back home & stopped for a carryout. It took almost an hour, the order was made incorrectly but they fixed it so that did slow things down. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time but maybe they were short staffed. Maybe it’s cool if you’re a local but lesson learned to just go through a drive-thru while traveling. Stopping here ate up way too much time.

Nice down home country atmosphere, great food, reasonable prices but unacceptably slow in getting food to the table after ordering. It was 45 minutes from order taken until it arrived, we were on the verge of walking out. I also stress that this was not our server’s fault, all the tables around us were taking way too long from ordering to arrival of the meal. We did not go for the buffet because some people we talked to outside said it was not keeping up with the meat items. We looked at it before ordering and the only meat on the buffet was one piece of chicken so we ordered off the menu. It seemed to be a popular venue but be prepared for long waits. A faster kitchen would bring this up to fives all the way.

Beware. Prices to high for the service. They were out of food and had to wait 40 minutes at the buffet. Not worth it. The manager had a nasty attitude and when the chicken did come up the guy with tattoos came and dumped it into the nasty used pan didn't say anything just rudely threw it in the pan and left.

Hostess young no manners or personality. Sat us in a section with no waitress. Flagged down a waitress and asked if we needed to move to another section to get waited on and she told us our waitress had not come in yet but she took our drink orders. What food I did eat was just mediocre. NEVER did get chicken or fish. People waiting in a line to get chicken. Two of us paid $45.00. I feel very cheated. First and last trip. Would not recommend to ANYONE!!

My husband and I stopped by while traveling. We each opted for the $13 buffet. The quality of food was really lacking. The salad was the best thing up there, imo.I felt the inside was very dated and could have been cleaner.
The staff was friendly and attentive. I would not return to this establishment.

We stopped in on our way through town. Ordered carry out. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich and I had brisket. He enjoyed his pulled pork and French fries. My brisket was chopped up and I usually find that’s a way of hiding the kind of meat you get. Well…it was fatty but taste was OK. They could do better. Portions were nice size. My coleslaw was delicious. What we both had hoped for were some hush puppies but they had run out. It was 6:00 PM - dinner time and that comes with many items on the menu. Make more! Seriously. We would stop again going through town. Think they may want to do a little marketing to get more people there Like kids eat half price on Wednesdays. Taco Tuesdays at a good price.
